Ivern Jungle Guide (Everything you need to know)

By Chaddy Chapstick
Abilities and Utilities
Ivern's Passive is a friend of the forest where instead of harming animals he sets a grove around them and over time you can come back and free them. At level 5 buffs can be shared if allies kill them or Ivern frees them. Always ping when for assistance or on the buff when you are freeing it so an ally knows when to get it.

Q is a skill shot that roots a single enemy that allies can click on them to go into their auto-attack range while Ivern can click or recast the ability to go into melee range. Make use of this by consistently hitting it when ganking or have your laner to set up a chain cc on the enemy.

W is the most interesting ability in Ivern's kit that a lot of newer or lesser skilled Ivern's will use incorrectly. You can use this to deny vision and empower your auto attacks. When ganking you want to be placing bushes on yourself during the fight so you can consistently put out damage. ENEMIES WILL UNDERESTIMATE THE DAMAGE don't be afraid to duel the enemy jungler early. (will go into this in a later chapter)

E is a point and click ability that sets a shield on an ally scaling with AP and after a set duration, it pops slowing the enemy. Make use of this by peeling allies, engaging, or being sticky onto an enemy.

R is a summon of a blue sentinal pet named Daisy. Daisy has an attack speed of 700 and on her third hit on an enemy she will knock up. You can outduel almost every champion in the game as long as you have daisy, hit your root, and make use of your empowered autos with W.
How to be the best Brushmaker
How to deny vision like a pro
W places a bush that connects to other bushes or walls in a certain radius. Use this on the front of the dragon or baron pit so the enemy cannot see into it. Placing a bush on top of an ally ward that is being denied by an enemy pink ward will get rid of the pink ward's vision denial effect. Placing W down will give you vision of a small area around it for 3 seconds make use of this checking pits, face checking, or checking for wards. Surrounding an enemy ward is Bushes will deny the ward vision from outside of the bushes. When seiging a lane or pushing up you want to bush up behind you or ontop of your team so the enemies will be afraid to face check or engage on you.
When taking objectives you can cut off half of the river and have a tanky engage sit in the bushes so they will be afraid to face check or they will waste their wards.
How to gank with bushes
In mid lane you are able to bush the walls of the river entry so the enemy will not be able to see you behind them, with brushmaker active on your walk up and Q onto them while also E-ing yourself to get the slow up afterwards and consistently auto them with bush empowered autos and W yourself to get them up again when they run out.
For bot/top lane walk in through river bush or Tri bush ALWAYS FACE CHECK FIRST USING W'S VISION. Walk in the same you would with mid lane.
Jungle Pathing
Things to know: Ivern does not get full gold value from krugs it is a waste of resources, there is never a path you should take them.

There are 2 main paths Ivern can take the first of which being
-Start and mark wolves, Blue, Gromp, Smite Red, and then raptors. Then go back into your top side to free them all the in the same order. After that look to gank or wait for scuttle raptors can be cleared later.
-Start Raptors, Red, Wolves, Blue, Gromp, Walk back to Blue and Smite, then reverse clear from their freeing the camps.
How to play Ivern
When you play Ivern you have to be generous with your team its best to rely on them for the safest options you can take though this does not mean constantly ping for ***itance because you can still do just as much without them. Ivern is all about getting your carries fed and supporting them while you're at it. Look for early ganks and skirmishes you know you can win through your cc and shields alone to put the enemies behind. Deny vision and go in for invades constantly using smite and taking a camp. When playing Ivern you always have to go in with a plan no matter what, the build, your strong side, who to gank first, what lanes to avoid ganking as much, and how fights will go down. Keep everything in mind with a mental notebook when playing him, many believe he is an easy champ or as simple as getting carried but the truth is he is the carry of the team using his CC, Shields, Jungle pressure, and his W. Utilizing all of these affectivly will win you the game.
