Introduction

This is My build on Jarvan The IV. He is an amazing champion if played corectly. Turret Diving is NOT a good idea. Recalling with no Mana before level 9 is NOT a good idea. Leaving Turrets range when you have low health is NOT a good idea. Some good ideas are: Cataclysm a running opponent, Use Cataclysm on an enemy chasing a team mate when you are SURE your team mate is out of the range, And Using Your Q/E escape for needed situations, not for the fun of it.

Jarvan`s Lore: As the royal family of Demacia for centuries, members of the Lightshield line have spent their lives waging war against any who opposed Demacian ethics. It is said that every Lightshield is born with anti-Noxian sentiment in his blood. Jarvan IV is no exception, even though he is the first Lightshield born to the age of League of Legends. As his forefathers had before him, he led Demacian troops into bloody engagements with Noxian forces, and on many occasions he has bled alongside wounded allies and fallen comrades. In his most crushing defeat, he was outmaneuvered and captured by a Noxian battalion under the command of Jericho Swain. This mistake nearly cost him his life at the hands of Urgot, but he was rescued by the Dauntless Vanguard, an elite Demacian strike force led by Jarvan¯¿½¢¯¿½¯¿½s childhood companion, Garen.

Those close to him believed that his capture changed him. Xin Zhao was quoted as saying: "His eyes never seemed to look at you, only through you to something he could not look away from." One day, without warning, Jarvan IV handpicked a squad of Demacian soldiers and left Demacia, vowing to find "atonement". He began by tracking and hunting the most dangerous beasts and bandits he could find in northern Valoran, but he soon tired of such prey. Seeking something that only he understood, he ventured south of the Great Barrier. He wasn¯¿½¢¯¿½¯¿½t heard from again for nearly two years. After many had assumed the worst, he returned to glorious fanfare on the streets of Demacia. His Demacian plates were adorned with the bones and scales of creatures unknown. His eyes bore the wisdom of someone twice his age. Of the twelve soldiers who had departed with him, only two returned. In a tone as cold and steady as steel, he swore to bring the enemies of Demacia to their knees.

¯¿½¢¯¿½¯¿½There is only one truth, and you will find it at the point of my lance.¯¿½¢¯¿½¯¿½ ¯¿½¢¯¿½¯¿½- the ¯¿½¢¯¿½¯¿½last words¯¿½¢¯¿½¯¿½ of Jarvan IV at his failed execution

Runes

My Runes are simple. CDR is for your Ulti and your E. I take armor pen. because it helps for the early game kills, and late game team fights. I lastly take HP and Majic Res. Because I do not focus on any of those in my build.

Masteries

I pick these Masteries because When you use your ultimate, you have plenty of attack time. The Utility is simple, Less death time (You will be quite squishy) and more Xp for kills.

I take Haste and Cripple because they are both viable on Jarvan.

Wait, I just said squishy, Why wouldnt I get defense? Oh wait. Does More Xp mean earlier 11? Yes. Does level 11 mean strong ultimate compared to 7-9? YES. If you don`t agree, go ahead with Dodge and **** like that. I`ll face you. We`ll see who wins.

Items

I start with Dorans Blade. I Recall at level 9 and buy Boots of speed and Zeal. I then lane untill I have 1000-2600 and buy Boots of Swiftness, Long sword and Phantom Dancer. After I lane unltill 1000 gold and then buy Sword of the Occult or Pick Axe. Then I continue getting my Items, selling Pickaxe for Sword of the Occult right before buying Youmuu`s Ghostblade.

Skill Sequence

I get my Ability Sequence because it is very strong early game. The only alternative I could say is Replacing E levels with Q levels Past level 6. It is not recomended, seeing it is harder to dodge, and gives your passive to teamates. It lasts for 2 Passives. Getting alot of their HP down.

People say this about his E ability: "Lead it to get the knock up. NEVER do this. The damage of the flag is equal to the damage you will deal if you knock him up.(Unless at the end of the build) Good Jarvans (Like Me) Can hit him with the flag and knock up 80% of the time.

Summoner Spells

I normally Take Heal and Ghost. Ghost lets me get in range for my ultimate, and heal lets me excel in Team fights and Early game.Possible alternatives are Flash, Ignite, and Exhaust.

Farming

Jarvan is amazing for farming minions. He can drop his E then Q, Killing the casters instantly and severely injuring the melees. He can also easily run into the jungle, and kill monsters in a matter of seconds. (His Q+E instanly kills banshees late game.)

Jarvan can easily take the Mana Buff. This cures his mana problems and is why I dont get anything to do with mana.

Summary

This is the end of my build. Basicly don`t act stupid and get killed, just play agressively. Getting 2 levels higher than your opponents lets you easily stay alive. If you get to the end of the item build, You will have a 95% chance to crit and have 2.5 attack speed. While in they are in your Cataclysm, You will get atleast 5 crits on them. Have Fun :)

(WARNING) To be a sucsessful Jarvan, you need teamwork. Tell your laning partner to get in melee range of your target, then ultimate. You win. See a guy with low - med hp? Gank. Ultimate. Knock Up. (W)Slow. If still alive: Knock up. Sucsess.

Also keep in mind that a full Occult will up your Q by 110 damage, and your ulti by 150. Play cautiosly untill you max it.
