Quoted:
Martial Cadence - His passive makes his Dragon Strike do good damage - I recommend that if you get to level 2 before the enemy, engage as soon as possible, since his damage from his passive will burst the enemy down.

actually its the other way around. Martial Cadence doesn't do anything for Dragon Strike the armor pen on Dragon Strike means that the bonus physical damage on your passive hits better.

Pretty decent guide, although you DEFINITELY stole my dividers lol. I had them custom made for me so I really doubt you got them elsewhere xD (its perfectly fine to use them btw i was just surprised)

there are a few spelling mistakes though ^.^ should proof-read or have someone else proof-read, I find getting fresh eyes to look at something really helps.

Keep working and it'll be much better than mine ^.^

make sure to turn c2v on if you havent already

Gott agree with my critic buddy here.
Most newbies to the site (like yourself) don't really take advice to heart, and it's super refreshing that you are.
Not much to be said now. Guide isn't complete yet but you took a pretty nice step forward. It's starting to look a lot more viable as a guide.

Made this little thing in the Skill Tree Calculator.
I suggest using it as an asset as you re-arrange your guide and mastery area. If you look at other guides, it's often used as a visual then explained next to it as your choices.
You can use the whole thing but it's nicer to crop both Offense and Defense and put it where you need it. Utility isn't even worth mentioning because... Well yeah, Jarvan.

Thank you! Yes, I take advice to the heart without flaming. I am glad that you're seeing good changes, but for now, I can't really see what I should change. I have been playing Jarvan IV both Jungle and Toplane and he's unkillable it's crazy. I think the only thing would be to give him a solid mastery set, but I use this set for all of my AD Bruisers/Tanks tho

The design is starting to take shape which is nice. You still need to get more information but it's a good step forward :).

Congrats on being the first guide I comment on after a huge hiatus.
You win internet cookies.

On a serious note: Doran's Shield is a standard on brick wall tops like Jarvan IV.
The way he's normally played is thorugh passivity, so Doran's Shield will help you immensely in completing that goal more than most any item at start.
Also Teleport is often a good Spell on him. A JIV with global presence is a scary one if played right (and if your teammates have the decency to ward).

Your guide is almost completely crippled in the presentation department, and sadly, appearances do matter. Put some pictures in, have a better hand at BBCoding and try to rearrange your paragraphs so they are more pleasing to the eye.
Also, JIV certainly has more cons than that, IE:

Cons

No sustain AT ALL (difficulty usually goes up as the enemy has more sustain)
Poor usage of ultimate can be devastating to your own team
Very low mana pool
Slow attack speed to trade damage at top (before maxing E)

(Source: http://www.lolpro.com/guides/jarvan-iv/128-jarvan-iv-guide-top-lane-by-jarvan-iv )

Another note; Having Oracle Lens is not necessarily passive and, in fact, promotes aggressive ganks when going mid so you can clear any pesky wards. Vice versa for the Totem, which can be used to ward as a safeguard to allow passive play.

The Cheat Sheet needs a lot more depth, since you're just flinging items at people, even though that's just a personal pet peeve of mine.

Overall: 4/10

Needs a lot of improvement, but it's not a lost cause. I've certainly seen horrifically worse.
I won't rate it, since I don't think it deserve an up or a down. Just hammer at it a bit more.

Thanks for your comment :) I have been editing some things and tried to design it better. I hope it's better now :)

I will! I haven't tried going Dorans Shield top, maybe that's why I didn't add it =D
I have added Teleport to the list tho

You should have a look at doran's shield start and teleport. Both work really well on j4 top. Besides that, the core item build looks solid.

You could also work on making your guide look a bit prettier!

Guide needs more work, items, runes, masteries has not any explanation to why you use them. Neither do you have any situational item, runes, masteries. Items are not even explained in the guide which is weird.

Nothing is really good explained both quantity and quality.
Your guide also lacks a good design, a good design makes the guide fun to read which makes someone finish your guide.

Fix, information about everything (tbh), get a good guide design and by the looks of the guide, get more games onto J4 and gather more information :).

PS. Your trinket description is plain out wrong and should be looked into.
