I play jax as an ,in the late game, tanky hybrid.

For runes i take flat ap quintessences for more damge at the beginning.
I take pro level armor on seals for more armore in lategame
also for the lategame i take magicresist runes pro level on glyphs
for marks I take As for more damage with the passive of the ultimate wich is very important for jax

itake first leapstrike because it's the jump then empower for more damage
skill ulti every time its possebly!

I take flash and ignite or exhaust and ignite.
after the nerv of flash often exhaust and ignite.
do it how YOU like!

My items give you enormus live,damage and ap,also enough armor and magic resist for the lategame.
i start with boots ofspeed and 3 heal potions.I ubgrade them to ninja tabis for doge.
then i buy guinsoos rageblade for mor damge and ap.
my second item is rylais crystal scepter to ad live, ap, and slows.
to ad lifesteal i take hextechgunblade its the best item for hybrids i think.
then i take atmas impaler for armor and the impertant passiv: live gains you damge!!
At last item i take zhonyas houglass for ap armor and the active,you also can take Rabadons for more ap or abyssal scepter for ap and magic resist if there are much ap players in the other team.

Jax is the ultimate hybrid tanky damgedealer!!!
with this build you get so much live and damge that the other team will say:"OP Jax!!!!"
i don't think he is op you can playhi very bad to,then you are just a freekill.
but not with this build!!!!!
