A good guide, I tried and liked it, however I added in a frozen mallet early so I could still partake in Melee because that's the fun bit =3,
on the skills section however you missed out on a neat little trick, I will always recommend putting two points in Lightning Field/Hyper charge early because of the Mana regeneration per hit you receive from it,
Jayce is really Mana hungry early game but this balance's it out, allowing you to fire off plenty of skill shot Gate/Shock blast and really dominate the lane, I've won solotop plenty of times with this strategy.

True, but buying Mallet slows your build down. Furthermore, your burst should be high enough that the combo ending with Thundering Blow kills the enemy. And the range of Jayce is that he can stay behind without much fear of being attacked.

Of course, you can get it as a last item to counter the Darius on their team.

After Infinity Edge I would buy a frozen mallet. It slows, gives you more surviviablilty, and helps with Atma's scaling.
