Kalista can be one of the most dangerous ADC's in the game. Despite her recent nerfs, there are many ways to build around her weaknesses. Attack speed isn't everything; proper mechanics will guide you through these changes and allow for the Kali carry that every enemy team fears.

One of the biggest mistakes I have found among new/unexperienced Kalista players is low CS. In order to play Kalista properly, ensuring you take a strong lead on CS will allow you to make and win trades in lane. Dodging enemy skillshots and CC will come naturally after a while; these are the most important tools for your success during the early phases of the game.

Kalista's power spike will be evident after she has finished building BotRK and Runaan's. At this point, the key to success will be positioning. A properly positioned Kalista will be able to provide constant damage and the enemy team will quickly scatter in order to avoid this. Be careful of assassins such as Zed or Talon, they are the real threats to you in this phase. Staying behind your front lines will allow you to obliterate the enemy at all times.
