HELLO. i am AbangLongDil. which means big brother Dil in malay. dont ask me why i got that name, its pretty obvious... nah just kidding! im a bronze player (yea it sucks) from the SEA server of LOL, particularly from Singapore. this is my first guide here on mobafire so i may have some mistakes here and there in building this guide (give me feedback on whre i can improve!) so i hope you would bear with me throughout!

Kayle is one of my main top and mid laners. Trust me, she does exceedingly well anywhere, even in jungle and bot lane. But for this guide, its all about top lane, as its where i feel she excels the most!

pros?

splash dmg from her E
OP ulti
can take down carries in matter of seconds
great team utility from her heal and ulti
favorable lane sustain
hypercarry-able

Cons?

Can be focused on if doing well
dependent on her items
takes a while to land a proper ulti on self or teammate
looks stupid without skins LOL

GOOD

i know why youd be asking me why id build hybrid attack speed items on a kayle. Now think. her Q is based on 100% bonus AD and 100% AP. good enough? now the attack speed from the items make her a champion killer, as simple as that. with all this, she makes a really strong duelist and kiter, some times even better than that of a jax! to top everything off, a Rylai's is added in to proc some slows with her E activated!

For masteries and runes, go for the standard AD runes and masteries. You may go for AP runes and masteries, but its much viable to go AD as i have tested it out. the end :D

In top lane, you would be encountering many melee laners. So farming wouldnt always require you to pop ur E unless youre facing against high harass champions like Pantheon or Gragas. if ure playing ranked, you can safely counterpick with Kayle if youre facing enemies like Darius , Singed , Garen as ur Q+E combo kites the **** out of this champions and trust me, they will recall back to their base if you kite them enough.

Your roles in teamfight is generally to peel their tanks and protecting ur team carry with your ulti if needed (if youre the carry, why not use it on yourself? :D). Apart from that, you could also burst down their carry with ur Q + E + AAAAAAAAA combos. its really an idiotproof way of killing someone with a hybrid kayle.
