There is a place between dimensions and between worlds. To some it is known as the Outside, to others it is the Unknown. To most, however, it is called the Void. Despite its name, the Void is not an empty place, but rather the home of unspeakable things, horrors not meant for minds of men. Though such knowledge is lost in modern times, there are those who have unwittingly discovered what lies beyond, and they have been unable to turn away. Kassadin is such a creature. He was once a man forced to look upon the face of the Void and forever changed by what he saw. Once a seeker of forbidden knowledge, he discovered that what he sought was something else entirely. He is one of the few that has found his way to forgotten Icathia and lived to tell the tale, following the scant breadcrumbs hidden in ancient texts.

Within a decaying cyclopean city, Kassadin found secrets of the kind that he will never share - secrets that made him quake with fear at the visions of things to come that were thrust upon him. The power of the place threatened to consume him forever, but Kassadin took the only route available to him in order to survive - he let the Void inside him. Miraculously, he was able to overcome the alien urges that went with it, and he emerged as something more than human. Though a part of him died that day, he knows that he must protect Valoran from the things scratching at the door, waiting to get in and visit their torments upon the world. They are only one step away... something to which the appearance of the abomination known as ChoGathSquare.png Cho'Gath attests.

Chapter 1

Kassadin, The Void Walker
Hello everyone! In this build i'm showing you my way to play Kassadin, The Void Walker!
He looks very cool and believe me he is even cooler in-game. He's one of my favourite champions, fun to play with and I hope you like him too.

Why trying Kassadin:

  • with little AP you get very high damage
  • he has very good CCs(silence and slow (if you are feeded those 2 skills kill the target instantly))
  • he can escape any fight or gank
  • he can cast spells in team fights denying anyone who tries to touch him
  • he can move through the map very quickly
  • very good ganker
...and a lot more. So my advise is try him!

I take magic penetration marks. This is the first part of the nuke damage early game.
Mana regeneration per level seals are important for not beeing out of mana after every 4 casts.
I take PER LEVEL cause you can use Kassadin's 2nd abillity to regen your mana.
Abillity Power! This is the second part of the early game nuke damage.

For masteries I go 9 0 21.
In Utility I max Perseverence, Expanded mind and Meditation for maximum mana and mana regeneration. Maxed Quickness, so i can escape and chase easier. Maxed Intelligence for reduced cooldowns and Presence of the Master so your heal and ignite will refresh sooner. I suggest to put some points in Awareness because Kassadin is not a godd farmer!
In Offence i max Archmage 's Savvy for AP per level, Sorcery for reduced cooldowns and Archaic Knowledge for magic penetration.

Skill Sequence

Void Stone
Kassadin takes 10% reduced magic damage and transforms this damage into bonus attack speed. This effect lasts up to 4 seconds.
Null Sphere
Kassadin fires an ethereal bolt of void energy, dealing magic damage and silencing the target for a few seconds.
Cost: 70 / 80 / 90 / 100 / 110 mana
Magic Damage: 80 / 130 / 180 / 230 / 280 (+0.7 per ability power)
Silence Duration: 1 / 1.4 / 1.8 / 2.2 / 2.6 second(s)

This is Kassadin's main nuke skill. Spamming Null Sphere will make enemies stay away from you.
Nether Blade
(Passive): Kassadin's melee attacks restore mana. This effect returns triple the mana against champions.
Mana Restored: 4 / 8 / 12 / 16 / 20
(Active): Kassadin gains bonus armor penetration for 5 seconds.
Cost: 25 mana

This is the last abillity to be maxed. But it 's important to level up it on 3 level because this is one of your main mana regenerations.
Force Pulse
Kassadin draws energy from spells cast in his vicinity, gaining a charge whenever a spell is cast near him, including his own spells. Upon reaching 6 charges, Kassadin can use Force Pulse to deal magic damage and slow enemies in a cone in front of him for 3 seconds.
Cost: 80 mana
Magic Damage: 60 / 115 / 170 / 225 / 280 (+0.7 per ability power)
Slow: 30 / 35 / 40 / 45 / 50 %

This is the second nuke skill. Very usefull in ganks and chasing. Max this abillity second.
Kassadin teleports to a nearby location, dealing magic damage to surrounding enemy units. Each subsequent Riftwalk in the next 8 seconds costs 100 additional mana and deals additional damage. The cost and damage can stack up to 10 times.
Cost: 100 mana
Cooldown: 6 / 5 / 4 seconds
Magic Damage: 60 / 90 / 120 (+0.5 per ability power)
Additional Damage: 60 / 90 / 120

This is Kassadin 's main excape and chase abillity. It also does good damage. Useful in team fights too.

Summoner Spells

Summoner Spells:

Heal - It can save your life while running. It can turn the fight in your advantage.(Don 't forget you are squishy!)

Ignite - It can be used at the begging(because it reduces healing with 50%) or in the end of a fight(it makes good damage for finishing someone).


Cleanse - Very good spell for Kassadin. It can save your live in a gank or team fight if combined with Riftwalk.

Exhaust - Why not! It can help you kill your enemies or to escape them.
Pretty usefull combined with Nether Blade(activated).

Clairvoyance - Take it if you know how to use it! It can help a lot.

Clarity - It is good only early game. Late game your mana regenration is very good.
