Hi guys.I am ReQuintaill and i play on the EU west server with as mains: Kassadin/Katarina
so why do i make this guide?:since i see al lot and i really mean A LOT of summoners that don't know how to play Kassadin in the right way!

Terms-
I will use AP =ability power and Kassa=Kassadin Champs=Champions


About me: I love to play AP champs a lot! mid is fav lane so this guide was not hard for me but still a lot of work so commenting and supporting me would be nice! Oh yea one last thing i'm Dutch so don't whine about incorrect spelling i'm still learning English.

I recommend you to start out watching the How to play kassa part before watching the other parts

Wich runes you like to use depend on your playstyle a lot!Let's run trough some

aggressive Kassa-players:I am one of the aggressive players with Kassa and this runes work very well for me! Greater seal of protency 9x Greater mark of insight 9x greater glyph of potency and 3x greater quintessence of potency.I know what you are thinking now: WHY?!!!! WHY??!!!!!!!!!!!
Well it's easy to explain this runes will grant you a lot of damage early game and will make you win youre lane easily against semi aggressive champs even against other kassa's it will work out well to -NOTE:This will ONLY HELP YOU EARLY GAME LATE GAME THIS IS USELLES BUT MOST OF THE TIME YOU'RE FED ALREADY!


Defensive kassa
- 3x greater quintessence of potency
- 9x greater seal of vitality
- 9x greater glyph of warding
- 9x greater mark of warding
this is a very defensive Kassa i don't like this playstyle since kassa is an OP dmg char but IF you like defensive you will probably like this one it will work out well against THE MOST aggressive players!
NOTE: THIS WILL HELP YOU EARLY AND MID GAME LATE GAME ITS USELESS JUST LIKE THE AGGRESSIVE BUILD!


Normal Kassa
-The rune build at the top of the page it works well against ANY champ BUT you will be killed easily by aggressive players and you will not be able to kill defensive players that easy
BUT this build works throughout the whole game

This masteries are pretty mutch BASIC but if you want to try out you can try defensive setup 9/0/21 but i won't recommend that because you will be killed EXTREMELY easy by aggressive if you don't use the defensive rune setup but in combination with the defensive rune setup this is DEADLY

The build i gave you is the BASIC Kassa build but i will write down some builds in combination with some playstyle's down here!

aggressive- Start out with doran's ring (for the ap/more damage) then take boots with 2 manapots and 1 healthpot (for farming/being aggressive against youre opponent) then go for Catalyst the Protector for the mana and health then finish boots afther that buy Rabadons Deathcap for the damage (speaks for itself) get a Lich Bane for situations in wich you can't nuke down the opponent in one skillrush then Void Staff for more damage output.Finish catalyst to Rod of Ages and swap Dorans ring for Wota.

Defensive
Start out with Boots+ 3 health pots then buy Catalyst of the Protector then finish boots afther this buy giants belt and then Raily's then buy a Rod of Ages then Hourglass and Deathcap finish off with a Banshee's veil

I will recommend you to ALWAYS max NULL SPHERE FIRST! otherwise youre damage output will be low afther this force push and then netherblade (just like the Skill Sequence above ) because this is good for the basic and the aggressive players NOTE: THIS WILL MOST OF THE TIME ALSO WORK OUT WELL FOR DEFENSIVE PLAYERS!!!!!

i say most of the time because i just don't reccomend playing defensive since Kassa is very OP and aggressive

Summoners spells: i reccomend this summoners spells but of course you can change them sometimes Blue is extremely recommended
red is DO NOT TAKE THEM yellow is not a smart choise Green is still usefull

-Easy escape (not easy to gank him)

-HUGE and i mean HUGE burst

-earl items don't really matter

- Hard to kill

- Hard to gank

- Late game you can't kill hime when he plays well


cons-defensive

-Not mutch damage late game

-He can't nuke enemy's down quickly

-Very team dependent

Lets start out with youre role in team-play because SUMMONERS:THIS GAME IS ALL ABOUT TEAMPLAY!


-aggressive
Don't take mutch damage and try to stay out of the middle center of the fight shoot some q's and when the enemy's all have about half of their live left R inside the fight land a q , another q and e chase them with R and Q' them down

defensive

Just tank all the damage till the point you get low then use your R to escape. While tanking damage them with youre Q and youre E

Oke this is i think the most important part of this whole guide!
This playstyle is the playstyle i use wich works good with aggressive i have no experience with defensive because i don't use IT i can only write what i think that will work out the best
so you have two types of Kassa's aggressive and defensive i recommend aggressive for fun and you will master the char more!

Ok with aggressive just farm with youre W ability on and land enought q's on the enemy while reaching level 6 on i hope you will be able to kill you're opponent earlier but if you reach level 6 jump on youre opponent with you're R and then q/e him down if you want to kill him earlier just hit with Q and E till he collapse ! The teamfight tab will explain timefights while youre opponent being down you can gank for more kills OR (what i recommend) farm and completely outlane you're opponent




With defensive just DON'T DIE and farm when you die everything will fail because you will be nuked down easily (mid) reality! that's all i can say about defensive and i DO NOT RECOMMEND PLAYING THIS STYLE

just hit them while using youre E ability for refunding your mana and while landing Q's on the enemy!
