240 normal games do not make you anywhere near experienced with LoL.
I wasn't trying to say that I'm a pro LoL player or anything, the point of it was that I'm not was some guy who played Kat once and got fed and now think a pro player. I've played her a lot, and I meant that I am not new to LoL.
Glyphs and Seals in runes are incorrect. These should be magic resist and armor respectively.
Masteries are incorrect. Taking 0 defensive points on an assassin is asking to feed.
Start is incorrect. Never start Amplifying Tome and two pots. You only need to last hit in early game to rush levels.

As I said to Logarithm earlier, these are optional and should be whatever you think are the best for you. These are the best for me, so I am hoping they will work the best for you.
Your core items aren't even necessarily core. I also see items such as Liandry's Torment missing as options. No mention of Enchantments either.
Obviously I left off Liandry's Torment from the core items because I think it is a weaker item on Katarina. I understand that MPen is great on Kat, but from the low AP you get from it, I think something like a DFG or a Zhonya's Hourglass is a better option.
If you **** up the cheatsheet this badly, I don't even want to read the rest of your guide.
This is what is really stupid. The cheatsheet is a suggestion of how to build a champion, not a requirement or a test on how good I am with her. These builds work best for me and I am sharing them with you in hopes that they work well for you. The rest of the guide is how to play her effectively, and even if you don't like my suggested cheatsheet, this is probably what's gonna be most important for you.
I assume you didn't play this build in game, so obviously you don't really know what it's like to use it. Please get some experience before ranting about something that you think is worse. You probably play Kat alot and do just fine in games with her using a different build, so you assume that other builds just suck. Try this build and you will be happy if you play right.
Runes and Masteries: Make you super squishy. Seriously, they're terrible, I can't see any reason why you would want points in the utility tree at all.
Items: Good, except not really. Amplifying Tome start is idiotic. Congratulations, your already super squishy build is now even squisher. Also, you just barely explain the purchasing sequence, which means I don't know if you've purchased Haunting Guise or not, which should be core.
There are champs that are naturally squishy and Katarina is one of them. You can build her tanky, which I for the most part do unless I'm hella fed, but she is still naturally squishy. Squishy champs can be played easily if you just don't take too many chances. Additionally, Katarina is usually played against
squishy champions anyway like Veigar or Anivia. If you're playing ranked, try to avoid champs like Pantheon. If you're not playing ranked, you can choose what runes you want or items to start with.
Also, I never said you MUST get those types of runes. Those are the types that work best for me, and I have tried them all. I understand you're point about squishyness, but again, just don't take too many risks.
Also, you are wrong about the hybrid items like Hextech Gunblade having less damage output. AP is just more consistent. Right path, wrong premise.
My point was not that using your sinister steel or Death Lotus will do a ton more damage pure AP than hybrid. But you're combo/teamfight output will be more in the long run as your Bouncing Blades and Shunpo scale only off of AP, and Bouncing Blades will be doing most of your damage to either poke or join teamfights.
Also, if you have played this guide in a game, please tell me how it went, and if you haven't, then don't please don't downvote if you don't know from experience.

Skill Sequence: Fine. I would get Q at level 3 since you need to focus on farming and poking early on.

Guide: Not great. You cover all the basics fine, but it is messy. Some of your explanations are just superfluous text.
