Kennen, The Heart Of The Tempest.
Kennen is a great damage per second, mass creep killer and harasser. I started playing him a month ago when he was free to play and I invented an ability power build to suit him. Enjoy.

Pros & Cons:
Pros: Great Harasser
Has energy, regens 5 per second
Can have huge damage output
Has stun
Can escape/initiate very well
Great area of effect/taking out multiple champions
Great at soloing
Cons: Squishy and easy to kill if ganked
usually targeted because of damage output
ultimate does random hits in an area of effect

Mark Of The Storm: Passive
Kennen's abilities add Marks of the Storm to opponents. Upon receiving 3 Marks of Storm, an opponent is stunned and Kennen receives 25 energy.
Everything Kennen does revolves around this, stunning your opponent is really important and is good for your ultimate to get a few good hits.

Thundering Shuriken:
Kennen throws a lightning shuriken to a target location, dealing damage and adding a Mark of the Storm to the first enemy it hits.
This is your main damager and all round good ability. It is good for harassing and can be used to get that final hit.

Electrical Surge:
Kennen's weapon becomes charged every few attacks, dealing extra damage and adding a Mark of the Storm on his next attack. (Active): Surges electricity through all nearby targets afflicted by Mark of the Storm, dealing damage and adding another mark.
Use this ability after you have used thundering shuriken as it will damage and get another mark on your opponent.

Lightning Rush:
Kennen turns into a pulsating ball of lightning for several seconds, gaining 230 movement speed and the ability to pass through units. Any enemy unit he passes through is dealt damage and receives a Mark of the Storm. Upon hitting the first enemy, Kennen gains 40 Energy. Half-Damage to Minions.
This is your most important escape/initiate spell. This can also be used to farm. Use this to rush through a lot of minions and finish them off with electrical surge. If an enemy champion gets careless use this to rush into him then use thundering shuriken and electrical surge, after this he will be stunned and on low health.

Slicing Maelstrom: Ultimate
Kennen creates a storm of shurikens and lightning around himself, summoning down a powerful energy bolt to a nearby enemy champion every half of a second. Cannot hit the same Champion more than three times. A Mark of the Storm is applied to enemies on the first bolt they are hit by.
This is a very powerful spell which can turn the tide in any battle. This is really good for a team fight when everyone is bunched together. The only downside is that it has a fairly long cooldown so use it wisely. This ability is very deadly at level 6 so you can usually get a quick kill around this time.

Ability Sequence:
The best sequence for a 1v1 fight would be, Lightning rush through him, Thundering shuriken, Electrical surge. At this point your opponent is stunned so use your ult (if available). after this if he is still alive use your abilities as they get off cooldown. If things have gone bad use your ult earlier as it still inflicts mark of the storm.
For a 3v3 or 5v5, anything with multiple people, rush in with lightning rush, Slicing Maelstrom, electrical surge and then thundering shuriken at the enemy with the lowest health.

Summoner Spells:
Ignite, good for getting that final damage
Ghost + Lightning Rush = amazing speed
Cleanse: Good for getting out of those annoying exhausts and stuns
Heal: This can save you in 1v1 battles or can give you time to escape from a gank.
Teleport: Good for saving a turret or ganking but not to useful with kennen's speed.
Flash: Good escape spell and good for ganking, but again not to useful for Kennen.
Exhaust: If out of energy or all abilities on cooldown it could get you a kill or escape.
Fortify: Let a tank get it, not you.
Revive: Just no... just no.
Clarity: Energy not mana.
Rally: Terrible skill for all except pushers.
Smite: Pretty much useless
Promote: also pretty much useless
Clairvoyance: Not too useful when you could just lightning rush into a bush

Kennen is pretty much an ability character so obviously that is what you will build on. This is the build i have always used plus a few potions.
Amplifying Tome: Bit of ability power to get you started.
Boots of swiftness: Good for getting a bit more speed than the enemy.
Guinsoo's Rageblade: Focus on getting your stacks up.
Rylai's Crystal Scepter: This will boost your ability power right up.
Zhonya's Ring: This will massively boost your ability power.
Lich Bane: Will give you a huge boost.
Void Staff: You probably wont get up to here but for a little magic penetration.

Farming is very easy for Kennen as he can take out multiple targets and regens energy very quickly. Use lightning rush, then electrical surge. If not dead by then use thundering shuriken.
Kennen is a great at soloing as he can harass, mass creep kill and use his abilities without wasting energy. When soloing don't go for the kill until around level 4, as creeps can do a lot of damage to him early on. When going for the kill try to get some damage before you initiate. This is done by using thundering shuriken and electrical surge. If the enemy is closer to their turret than yours try to stun them and then go in for kill. If not just rain hell on them.
