Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
Sapphire Crystal-Good starting item because it allows BLitz to get a couple more grabs in, which is potential for a couple more kills. Also, it builds into our next item.
Sheen-We get this as soon as possible because it gives Blitzcrank's damage a huge boost. It stacks with the bonus damage from Power Fist, making it hit really hard.
Boots of Swiftness-Blitzcrank has a really slow base movement speed, so boots of swiftness are a necessity. This stacked with your overdrive will make you really fast.
Phage-Gives health and damage, but the best part is the slow.
Zeal-Blitz actually benefits really well form this item. It gives movement speed, whic he really needs, attack speed, and crit, which actually helps him more than you would think.
Trinity Force-This gives everything Blitz needs. He benefits from all the stats provided from it. This is a necessity.
Trinity Force is basically the Core Build here. From there, if your team has no tanks and you need to play the role get a Frozen Heart or Abyssal Scepter if they're caster heavy. Also get Banshee's Veil if they have a lot of crowd control. If you don't need to be tankier, get a recurve bow for the attack speed. From there get an Infinity Edge and then a Last Whisperer.
Don't go into the bushes unless you have a good lane partner and are confident you could win. YOur lane partner will have to do most of the damage and you will just grab them when they start running. If not, then just wait for the minions to spawn. When they spawn, just try to last hit. Don't spam your grabs as they cost a lot of mana and you will run dry fast. Just let the enemy push to your tower and try to pull them into tower range. Then hit power fist and they should die, especially if your lanemate attacks them as well. Your grab plus your power fist will give a guaranteed 2-34 tower shots on the enemy, depending on how far you pulled them in.
You don't want to walk around alone mid game. Try to always be with an ally. YOu should easily be able to feed your team kills with your grabs power fists. Go ahead and use your ult too since it has such a low cooldown. If you see a large group of minions building up, use your ult to clear them up. Use Overdrive to move around and try to defend all the lanes. Push as well, with power fist/ sheen and overdrive you can do insane damage to turrets.Just try to land good grabs, and try to grab when the enemy is pushing near turrets.
By this time the enemy should hate you. Your grabs will screw the enemy over and bring your team many kills. In team fights, if the enemy has any channelers try to stop them with power fist. Otherwise, just focus whoever the rest of your team is and use your ult when the enemy is grouped up. Still try to land grabs to help give your team an advantage by picking them off one by one. If you went the damage path, use overdrive and you can tear enemies up. If not, save overdrive to escape.
