hello this is my first guide so sorry for disorder overall because of my lack of experience as well as grammar since im not native english speaker and overall lack of correct computer writing

as for the runes the press the attack rune is very good if you are going for sustained damage triumph is a life saver if you kill your opponent in lane with the heal also the extra gold is nice but do be wary the heal is not instantaneous it takes around the same time it takes skarl to return so you can expect to die before the heal (i hate you skarl) blood line gives you life steal that is always useful and coup de grace is really the only viavble one so yeah... as for the valor path demolition is godlike for your splitpush and conditioning gives you more resistance to do so but it takes time to activate but you also can get the doran shield rune (second wind) or the sion passive one (dont remember the name right now too lazy to look it up)

i cant finish to explain how important titanic hydra is for you it gives wave clear tankiness more damage to your AA and a 5th hit to use after your w ends.
the black cleaver is very good since as well as giving tankiness you can stack its passive easily with your w.
boots will depend on the laner if its ad grab tabis if its ap mercurial.
randuins omen its good to ignore some crit damage as well as making it easier to stick to someone thanks to the active.
the rest of the pure defense items are up to the players style but in my case dead man plate is very good but as for the 6th item is almost always situational

when playing kled you cant be completely passive as its kit allows him to initiate very easily always start with attaching the q then use e to close the distance and start AAing to use the w if the enemy starts to get away use the second e to get in range for the q pull if the enemy gets to the tower and its low go for it if you ARE SURE you can finish him before losing skarl as the turret will stop shooting at you when you lose him also when you have the full titanic hydra use the active AFTER your w is gone so you have a 5th empowered AA but of course as any other champion (except for tryndamere) you arent inmortal the fact that the kit allows you to go all the way in doesnt mean you have to do it always if its only 1 enemy you can try and go for it however dont get too confident in lane if you loose skarl try to stay as close as you can to your tower as its very possible the enemy jungler will try to finish you off
