Introduction
Items are pretty situational too. I always buy the warrior item with wards first. You can also go red smite for extra early pressure and damage, but you will lose out on mobility and vision, so I don't recommend it.After the jungle item, it depends on your comp and the enemy comp. Against high macgic damage you want maw. Against heavy ad you can buy DMP, and you always want to get boots after the jungle item. You can buy Tabi Or Mercs, the rest are ****ty, or very situational.I like black cleaver a lot on Lee Sin, but build is a lot about preference and situation, so as long as you're not buying ap it's ok.
The jungle route is also very situational, but you always want to go for early ganks and early invades in your game. The most common route I use when I start red side is Red Wolves Blue and gank top or invade because I have level 3, and Lee is a very good duelist and ganker in the early stages. At level 6 you have your biggest power spike and you should look to get a lot of ganks of, and getting objectives. Try to get first turret, and try to fight around dragon. You don't need to farm a lot, putting early pressure is more important, because Lee Sin doesn't scale well, but also try to keep your farm up to not be behind on level and items, you need to fin a balance.
Lee Sin is known as a very high skill cap champion, with a lot of diverse mechanics that you need to know to win your games.
1. Ward Jumps
Ward jumps are easy to do, you place your trinket, and then you press W on it. But you need to learn your range very well, so you can do it perfectly with quick cast, and the faster you can do it the better.
2. The Insec
This is the most famous Lee Sin skill, which was popularised by the player Insec. To do this you need to master the ward jump. As a sidenote you can ward jump during your second Q, but you lose the damage. To pull off the Insec you need to hit someone with Q then you press Q again, ward jump behind them and ult them towards your team.
3. The kick flash.
You can cancel your kick animation with your flash to throw them in the direction opposite to where you flashed. This may seem pretty hard at first but if you put the work in in the practice tool you can do it. Just remember that you have flash whhile the kick animation is ongoing.
4.E flash
This is a very situational combo that should only be used against champions with escapes so they don't dodge your slow if you have no other means of catching up to them.
5. Q flash
Pressing q and then flash doesn't cancel your animation to make the q range longer, but it allows you to close distance fast and unexpectedly against a champion. This should be used to outplay in 1v1s.
6. The execute combo
This can be done by pressing QRQ or RQQ if you want to be sure to hit the Q. When you do the QRQ always remember to auto attack after your first Q to proc your passive and to do more damage on your second Q.
A full damage execute combo looks like this: first Q 2autoattacks R ward jump to get back in range autoattack E Q. This will one shot any champion at level 6 if you are not to far behind. So these are the mechanics you need to know to win games. Use practice tool to hone them, and I guarantee your winrate will go up.
