Introduction

Well, first off this is my first guide on MOBAfire and i hope you guys enjoy it. I build Lee Sin as a tanky dps and no this isn't a jungling build even though he still has the basic jungling runes. I primarily use Lee Sin for laning only. Plus stacking health, crit, and ad is awesome for Lee Sin.

Runes

While the rune setup in this guide is the main runes usually used for jungling, as stated before, this is a laning guide. So with that said, lets get in depth for the runes:

Desolation: ( flat armor pen) These runes are somewhat of a no brainer due to the fact that it makes Lee Sin hit harder and helps alot with early game as well.

Resilience: (flat armor) Lee Sin is squishy early game and needs these runes just to help him out with that. Plus the additional armor can help a little bit late game.

Magic Resist: Basically for the same reason as resilience, even though you do not stack much of it with this build.

Quint of Desolation: more Armour Pen.

Quint of fortitude: Who doesn't like more health?

Skill Sequence

Q: Sonic Wave/Resonating Strike: This ability is amazing! Want to try to catch up to a champ thats running away? Want to surprise an enemy from the bush for a gank? No problem. This makes laning a whole lot easier. Early game this can be used for two things: to harass and to initiate. Mid to late game: Initiation, chasing, and taking down low health enemy champs who are hiding behind their allies. Also the less health they have, the more damage Resonating Strike does! Max this ability FIRST!

W: Safeguard/Iron Will: This is basically your defensive/ getaway skill. Safeguard when activated will teleport you to the nearest ally within range that you clicked on and give you and said ally a shield for a few seconds. Iron Will gives you bonus life steal for a few seconds. I cannot begin to tell you how often this skill have saved me from getting ganked and/or dying. Its not really needed till close to mid game so pick it up around level 5 and dont start upgrading it until level 14.

E: Tempest/cripple: great move for farming minions and for ganking. Tempest does a small aoe around Lee Sin that does damage + bonus damage from your AD and also allows you to see those hit by the aoe no matter where they are for a few seconds. Cripple reduces movement and attack speed of those affected by Tempest for 4 seconds. Your Q plus this = Win when Ganking.By the time your opponent starts running away, they should still be slowed and then you can follow up with another hit of you Q and finish em with your ult.

R: Dragons Rage: This is your ult and your finisher. You deal a large amount of damage to the target and send them flying in the direction you kicked them. If they collide with any enemies, those enemies will suffer some damage and be knocked into the air while the target you kicked will take more damage for each enemy they collide into. This ability is great in team fights when your trying to take down that one champion that is trying to get away. You then q in, get ahead of them, and ult them back to your teammates. Combine this with Ignite and watch em try to run away only to die a few seconds later. :D

Summoner Spells

Recommended:

Flash + Ignite: Flash for chasing and running away and Ignite for extra damage output and healing reduction against enemy champions ( if they try to use a health pot for example).
