This might seem for many of you a crazy build but it isn't. One is an tanky/AP build and the other is full tank. On the upper slopes of Mount Targon, the warriors of Rakkor live and breathe only for war. However, Targon's peak is reserved for a special group of Rakkoran who answer to a ''higher'' calling. Members of this group, called the Solari, retire their mantles of war, choosing instead to devote their lives to reverence of the sun. According to legend, the Solari were formed by a warrior who could call the raw might of the sun down upon his enemies in combat. He claimed Mount Targon's summit, the point on Valoran closest to the sun, for his solar devotion, a tradition which generations of Solari have preserved to this day. Though they maintain their reverence, no other warrior possessed the gifts of the founder -- until Leona.

Leona's parents were traditional Rakkorans, both bred for the heat of battle. To them, Leona was a problem child. She was capable of fighting as fiercely as any other -- including her childhood friend, Pantheon -- but she did not share their zeal for killing. She believed that the true worth of a soldier lay in her ability to defend and protect. When it came time for her Rite of Kor, a ceremony in which two Rakkoran teens battle to the death for the right to bear a relic-weapon, Leona refused to fight. For this, the Rakkoran leaders ordered her execution, but when they tried to strike the fatal blow, sunlight burst forth, bathing Mount Targon in light. As it faded, Leona stood unharmed and her executioners lay unconscious around her. The Solari immediately claimed Leona, demanding that her sentence be repealed. She donned the golden armor of the Solari and they bestowed upon her the sword and shield passed down from the ancient sun-warrior of legend. The Solari helped Leona focus her abilities, and when she was ready she left to join the League of Legends.

Leona uses her shield to perform her next autoattack, dealing bonus magic damage and stunning the target. I max this first because it gives some nice stun for making your teammates can get there and kill the target, hopefully a champion.

Leona raises her shield to get Armor and Magic Resistance. When the duration first ends, if there are nearby enemies she will deal magic damage to them and prolong the duration of the effect. I max this after Shield of Daybreak because it gives some nice armor and magic resistance and also damages enemies nearby, it's perfect for a teamfight.

Leona projects a solar image of her sword, and deals magic damage to all enemies in a line, when the image fades, the last enemy champion hit by the sword will be briefly immobilized and Leona will dash to them. I get this first and max it at last because its main objective is bring you to a enemy champion and in level 5 it deals more damage.

Leona calls down a beam of solar energy, dealing damage to all enemies in an area. Enemies in the center of the area are stunned while the other on the outside are slowed. I get this every time I can because it deals some nice damage and also stuns and slows enemies in it.

I recommend this rune cause it gives some nice health for an early game and a bit for later game.

I use this rune because it gives some huge armor for the entire game and will protect you from early game AD champions like Master Yi and others.

This rune is very useful because it gives you some nice Magic Resistance for early game and a bit for late game.

This rune is really necesary for an early game because it gives tons of health for a start and will also be good for late game.

I get this because it gives more CC for the game and it's very useful for you and your team to get kills.

I also get this for an escape way for leona because it can go over walls, trees and more.

This are other options you can take:

You can use this spell because it's really efective for getting fast to far places over te map like towers or minions.

You can get this one as another escape form for Leona because it gives you some really nice movement speed.

Other spells can be used but these are the best for Leona.

To take kills or for making your team get kills you should use this combo of Skills:

1.- Put on your and your

2.- Then aim an enemy Champion with your and go for him.

3.- If you hit him with just attack him and you will stun him because of your and your will deal magic damage to the enemy champions so you might get a kill if he is low health or atleast deal to him some damage so that another teammate can kill him.

4.- Your try only to use it in a teamfight so that you can hit the most enemy champions possible and follow the rest of the combo.
