+1 good guide, though you should get Rabadon's Deathcap first.

That is why I take E and Q first. Early on, her Auto attacks hit very hard for a Mid lane Champion. The combination of her passive and a few ad masteries allows her to last hit extremely well early game, and her autos provide enough punch that she does not need Q or W to harass. As soon as you get enough money you should be basing for chalice of harmony, which provides enough mana regen to allow you to start harassing and farming with your spells, and also gives you magic resist to allow you to trade harass far better than they can. Even though you dont have much ap at this point, you have so much magic resistance and durability that your base spells with no ap will hurt them far more than their spells with around 40 ap will hit you. I Think that is what you were adressing in your comment, though it was a bit hard to understand. my playstyle is more of a shut down playstyle where constantly harass then and last hit with my auto attacks. Well... i use to play more AP/AD. Yeah i know that her E is such a great utility spell and can save many times from f. ex. ignite but i think geting your Q maxed first is better idea. Of course it depends of situation beacuse she is very versatile hero. Athene`s unholy grail is rather for AP/AD bulid, and if you skipp AP runes and MANA regen (that keep u in lane and allows you to harras) that could be the shortest way to loose. Even with that huge magic resist with your runes its sure that orianna cant stay long on mid vs for example Ahri or brand witout high AP (skilled ofc :P) -> VERY low harras ability. I appreciate that its ur first guide, i cant give you advices and tips beacuse i havent done any guide yet :D. good job, but i wont rate this way to play her as good.

I like it. Orianna is indeed an underused champ. I really like the strategies in this guide, makes me wish I played her. But I understand her potential now. +1

Thanks Mooninites! I did mention that you should upgrade Chalice sometime after you get your rabadon's. Mobafire hasn't included the item yet, so I just had to kinda do it verbally. I know, lame.

Well first of all congrats on your first guide. I suppose it could use a little more depth or information, but this isn't terrible.

I feel like Chalice would delay Catalyst/RoA at times and it wouldn't be worth it to go that route, but I could be wrong.

Also you might want to include something about the chalice upgrade, Athene's Unholy Grail
