Overall I really like embrace on shen it's cheaper increases dmg and scales with kit

So I found out after finally reaching gold with shen jg that you can go guardian dark seal demonic embrace with sunfire and have mega ukt shields or you can go sunfire demonic embrace full tank and do a ton of damage with Aftershock

Another question is titanic worth rushing to make clear better since in reality you don't need sunfire till mid game for teamfight

The build im going now is Sunderer, thornmail boots in between somewhere and then if ahead titanic hydra if need of mr then wits end or abyssal.
Second build is a burn build sunfire, thornmail, Demonic embrace then rest tank items also. to note stoneplate active with shield bash does a TON of burst but its for late game

so no more hail of blades ?

I tried hail it seem to work good for lots of burst but aftershock is better. also Im liking sunderer much better now. Because it literally lets you one shot if used correctly lol, also rushing tiamat and then going sunderer isnt a bad idea helps clear speed alot. Which then later on you can get Titanic hydra as 4 th item or third item. Also Ad isnt bad on shen now that his e do ad dmg too

When you said spirit visage gives +shield power to your ult. It is in fact not true spirit visage only affects heals and shields on yourself only.

I think I should’ve been clearer. The AP scaled boost from the AP item is what gives better ult shield. Though, when I had said “25% shield power on all shields” I had meant the shield passive Shen gets very frequently. I’ll fix it soon.

Yeah. I have seen just when you said that it looks like you meant for the spirit visage 25% heal and shield. :)

Does shen have problems with its clear? i mean i ve never tried it

Shen's clear is super easy if you utilize the lazy Q technique. You can check regarding that in the guide-- though I'll upload a more in-depth video regarding that soon!

Iceborn gauntlet gives mana but it’s useless on shen so idk if it’s troll or not :(

I've only used iceborn once or twice with immobility rune set to maximize immobility with the armor it provides. Other than that, I almost always go frozen heart. You can check the item set for that. I've updated the item list to better show item priority.

Very nice and comprehensive guide.
I appreciate your inclusion of every single possible rune set even ones that many people would not think of.
I was curious (as jungle was played in the recent Worlds match of Top Esports versus Suning) about buying on first back instead of your jungle item? Obviously it'd be situational, and rather be in situations where you don't need your jungle item as early, but what if you just did that as your standard?

I usually go stalker blade first for the passives-- smite passive to better secure early engages. Then tiamat for the aoe. Though, it's all about personal preference.

I have been having lots of success going a PTA route with shield bash revitalize secondary then I go Titaniorn

Update I think i found another very good rune page same as ur aftershock page but instead of sorcery domination with cheap shot and ultimate hunter

that's usually a standard secondary rune tree for shen (as noted in the shield runes), though I wanted each runes to have some key differences on how you can play shen jg. you can always alter each rune to liking ofc
