Introduction

This is my first guide, and it's for Lux, the Lady of Luminoscity. So since this is my first build, don't flame or troll but constructive criticism is good. I give credit to "impervious" with his Lux build, as this spell sequence is completely his. So have fun, and may you light your path.

Summoner Spells

Since I don't have Flash yet, I tend to use Ghost more, and Lux seems to be better with Ghost. This is just my opinion. Clarity is so you can harass more and also stay in your lane.

Masteries

Again, typical spell caster masteries setup as I'm not level 30 yet.

Runes

These runes are explanatory. I don't have many runes so I do not know if these would work. They work for basic spell casters though.

Items

Early Game (1-8)

So I like to start off with a Doran's Ring and a Health Potion as the Doran's Ring gives you the AP and some mana regeneration. The health is a bonus and the health potion is to stay in your lane. Next if you're doing well, go for the Blasting Wand. If you're not, then rush an Archangel's Staff. If you went for the Staff, then skip Rabadon's Deathcap. If not, then finish up Rabadon's and go for your Archangel's after. Don't forget to get a Boots of Speed before you get Archangel's and finish up your Sorceror's Shoes after your Archangel's so you get some magic penetration.

Mid Game (9-14)

So now hopefully you have your Rabadon's and your Archangel's so you have high AP and some decent mana regen. Next, start working on your Deathfire Grasp to bring down those tanks like nothing. Don't forget to sell your Doran's Ring for extra item slots.

Late Game (15-18)

Hopefully, by now you have already beaten them already, but if the game is still going, then go for your second Rabadon's Deathcap for more AP to take down those tanks and everyone else. Finally get a Zhonya's Hourglass for the extra AP and the active which can save you in combination with Ghost. If you still have lots of money to spare then get a third Rabadon's Deathcap instead of Zhonya's. You may also get Nashor's Tooth as well for the mana and the Cooldown Reduction.

Playstyle

Early Game (1-8)

Lux is a carry, which means she is very good in mid. At level 1-5, harass with your Light Binding. Then follow up with an auto-attack to do a lot of damage. Lux's passive can help you in battle a lot. Cast a spell on them then auto-attack, do this a lot and you will get them down low enough for your Finales Funkeln(when you get it). Once you get Lucent Singularity, harass with Q, then E and auto-attack. Rinse, wash, and repeat. Once you get your ultimate, carry out the exact same sequence but add the ultimate at the end. It is a sure kill, unless your facing a tank. Also the cooldown on your ultimate is pretty quick, so it should be up and running after a battle. Also you want to farm and harass with your E ablility. Do not and try not to use your Q on minions.

Mid Game (9-14)

Same order applies, but you will start to do more and more damage. If you are fed, the easier it is to get a kill. Still, you want to farm till level 9-11, then you should be able to gank people very easily. The same combo will destroy them. If you're two or three levels higher than anyone else on their team, then you can also gank at level 7 or so. Try to farm and you will benefit a lot. At level 13 you have gotten your Prismatic Barrier. That's when you can also protect your teammates while you gank them.

Late Game (15-18)

The minion farming stage is over, and now is the best time to set up ganks. Since you were in mid, you leveled quicker than anyone else. Set up ganks and remember to use your Prismatic Barrier. Same combo applies but try to knock everyone down to about 1/4 to about 1-2 health. Then launch Finales Funkeln to finish most of them or get them to really low. While they recall or if they're still dead, push all sides and make sure they don't push back.

Team Fighting

As a spell caster, you are very SQUISHY. Do not run in first. Let your tank run in. Then use your spells from the back of your team. You do not tank towers (but if you have enough health and mana then you probably can). You support your team by protecting them with Prismatic Barrier and weakening your enemies with your Q, E, and your R.

Combos

1v1, 2v2, 2v1

Q, Deathfire Grasp(If one is a tank and if you have it), E, R, (repeat)

5v5, 3v3

Repeat E until down to half or so, Q, then R

Summary

So that's it. My first guide. I do want to give some credit for impervious. The skill sequence is completely his. So I'll also put the link to his Lux build. Hope you enjoy!
