The Point of this Build is to max out cool down reduction so Lux can maximize the use of her ult. This build will give Lux the ability of having her ult every 24 seconds. Allowing Lux to pick off kills that have got away or use her ult twice in a team fight. The cool down reduction also allows Lux to spam her stun and shield in team fights giving her team a huge advantage.

The masteries I choose for this build were to max out ability power/mana regen begging game. To help destroy other mids.

These items were chose to help take down everything from tanks to adc's, as you can see I have put magic penatration, lots of ap, but have not forgot about armor and magic resist to help Lux out when in team fights.

The most unique skill for Lux is her passive begging game when you hit her stun hit her passive auto attack to do bonus damage same with all her moves besides her shield.

I use this build for Lux because I wreck people with the use off her passive and her amazing stun. When I hit my stun I throw down my E but right after the stun I hit an auto attack to make use of my passive then activate my E and auto attack again to make full use of my passive, then the use off my ult usually seals the deal and i get the kill.
I chose to build void staff and scorers shoes because I do so good in some games that people will try to counter me by building magic resist. It also helps in team fights because tanks arn't as easy to kill but shooting your ult twice in team fights is amazing.
