Introduction.

Hey guys. This is my first guide, and for Malphite too. I dedicate it to Malphite firstly, because it's my main tank, He's a really strong character with a nice playstyle. My build is really good in my opinion. However, you may have to change the items according to the enemy team.

I will keep this guide updated once Malphite gets any changes in the upcoming patches
(Nerfs or Buffs (I hoenstly don't think he will get buffed, but alright)).

Pro's & Con's.

Pro's of Malphite:
Great way to initate team fights.
Easy farm with his Ground Slam.
Brutal Strikes gives you needed damage and armor.
You can use your ultimate to move through walls to ecsape or chase after a flashed enemy.
Awesome passive (10% out of Max hp Shield).
Great Disabler for the enemy team in Teamfights.

Con's of Malphite:
You may be wasting your passive if you're not stacking some HP.
Unstoppable Force sometimes does not knock up (Might be a bug).
Unstoppable Force is a great way to initate, But your teammates need to know when to start the fight when you pop out your ultimate.
Malphite loses mana very easily. Might wanna ask your teammates for a golem buff.
You very need that farm with Sunfire Cape and Ground Slam to get your Frozen Heart very quickly for your mana issues.

Summoner spells.

Teleport & Ghost.
Flash & Ghost.
Exhaust & Ghost.

All are great choises. I recommend Flash & Ghost. Why? I will now explain down here on each combination.

Why Flash. Hmm.. It's just great for flashing away, or flashing after an enemy who flashed away from you and just chase with Ghost and Seismic Shred. Also, You can just get into team fights with flash, and pop out your ultimate. A great way to initate.

Exhaust is a great way to help your teammates. Exhausting a champion who runs quickly, Like Teemo, or just neturalize a high dps champion (Tryndamere, Master Yi, ETC). It's a great skill for team support, And also for first blood chase.

Teleport, teleport... teleport. Teleport to your towers when they're under attack of a hugh minion wave, Or just teleport to help a teammate, or teleport to a minion when they're all pushing a specific lane. A great skill, I rather take it than Flash or Exhaust.

Items.

The build I gave you guys is a great build. Why? You get the armor and magic resistance you need, The Sunfire Aegis you need to farm easily a minion wave, And Warmog's Armor for your passive and a lot of health. Almost all the items are very dependent on your team needs and the enemy team champions.

For example, Let's talk about boots. I will give you guys instances of each champion trait and I will tell you what boots to get.

Auto attackers & DPS: Ninja Tabi.
Magic, Heavy Crowd Control: Mercury's Threads.
Enemy team got nothing, But you need the CD anyway: Ionian Boots of Lucidity.
Enemy team got nothing, But you want to do heavy damage: Sorcerer's Shoes.
You want to chase very hard: Boots of Swiftness.

Team work.

Malphite is a great way to help your team, Either with slowing your enemies with Seismic Shred, Or dealing heavy damage with your basic attacks and Ground Slam, Or initating a great team fight with Unstoppable Force.
When a team fight is about to commence, Pop out your ultimate.
Keep slowing enemies with your Seismic Shred.
Always use your Brutal Strike any time, For the armor and damage increase.
You can use your ultimate to move through walls to ecsape or chase after a flashed enemy.
