Introduction

Now some People Would call Maplhite a pure tank and while that can be true and very effective i play him as a jungler and before your troll's out there bash this idea know this is extremely viable i have tried it in game and have done very well with it. im going to start with my jungle pattern and gank path. *Remember to use your pot's, and to watch for opportunity's to use your fortify*

Jungle/Skills/items

Now for this build it will start like many others by buying cloth armor and 5 health pots after witch you take your first skill with is your E or Ground Slam with is a AoE attack with lowers the def of all enemy's you hit, the damg you do is buffed by the amount of armor your have with starting out should give you a good chunk, After you take your first skill head to blue buff were if your lucky your mid or solo with leash for you *note a leash is helpful but not required* witch is a single shot to the blue golem just to take some pressure off you in the start, after smiting the blue golem travel to the wolf camp after witch u will reach lvl 2 were u get ur second skill Malphites W witch is Brutal Strikes this skills passive allows your basic attacks to deal splash damg and strike nearby enemy's and upon activating it incress's your attack damg and armor by 40% at witch makes for a very high damg output late game, now after that head to the wraiths camp your two combined skills should allow for easy killing of this camp, after this your smite should be off cool-down so head to red buff and combine ur W, E and smite to make quick work of him after this head to the twin golem's *aka the brothers* make quick work of these the same as the others by this time your lvl 3 and have taking another point in ur E once your have done this you may return to your base and pick up ninja tabi and two more health pot's go over to your enemy's jungle and start taking there buff's until you reach lvl 4 where you take your Q witch is a single target shot that slows your target on hit granting you 14% speed boost while reducing your enemy's movement by the same. after this point you should start your gank's where you want to start is up to you i normally start by the last buff i got *usually top, unless other lane's are hurting to badly*. now when you gank make sure you let your partners know what your going to do so they can amp up there aggression to draw then enemy's in as you come from behind and lead with your slow as they run by you *they almost always have to* hit your W then E as soon as there in range *note the point of a Maplhtie gank is not to feed you but the laner all of Malphite's skills as great for assists but lack lethality not that you wont get kill's later in game tho, all i'm saying is give up kills for the benefit of your partners your wont become underpowered* once you hit lvl 6 ganks will become more and more successful as u land your ult, yes the item order i have u is the recommended item buying order but it's really up to you and the enemy team.

Runes

For rune's i take flat Armor pen mark's for late/early game sustained damg through armor, I take flat Armor seal'sfor a tanky feel combined with the added damg to Malphite's E, I take Flat magic res glyphs again for that tanky feel early and late game for Quintessence i Take Flat Damg to help in the jungle and with damg output late game.

Masteries

My masteries have change since it has bin brought to my attention that there was a better way to go about it so i changed it up to a 16-14-0 because of the masteries changing this is the best root to take for any heavy jungler
Back to Top

Summoner Spells

for summoner spells i take Fortifiy and Smite, smite is basic for any jungle build but fort give's u the chance of defending a tower even when in the jungle it also add's bonus damg to minions witch also helps greatly in the jungle. <3
