I tried this build and it aint too shabby.
I went 14/5/21 in a normal game solo que - so put in it what you want. I'm lvl 15 and i freaking owned 1 lvl 30 and 2 lvl 25, from start to end.

21-0-9 is stupid. You aren't going to benefit from any masteries after Arch Knowledge.

Nashor's tooth is stupid. If you -really- want attack speed, you use Malady so your malefic ticks more and your Voidling does more damage. Attack speed has no benefit on malhazar other than tower pushing lategame, and even then, what the hell.

No mana regen seals / no cool down glyphs?

You have rod of ages as your 5th item. First item or don't use it.

Null Zone does no damage until late game, they probably won't have high HP until that point. Only use for it is for w-> nether grasp.

You want to max out Malefic visions early so you have strong harass and strong pushing, which what Malhazar excells at.

Nashors Tooth is such an underestimated item, like I write in my build this item have it all. End game with 500+ ap getting in an ekstra 3 or 4 hit in a teamfight will make the difference, which the AS give me. And since I haven't gone 9/0/21, I like the CDR i get from it aswell. yes there are other items that give CDR, but none with 50 AS - at least give ita try before you critisize:)

Mejai's is a must on must casters, the fact that you doubt this leaves ME questioning YOUR skill mate. In almost any game with Malzahar, I get to at least 10 stacks which means it pays off. And with flash + ignite, you will be getting kills/assists fast - or at least you should be with Malzahar or you are doing something wrong.

I do need attackspeed as explained above, it is a wonder to me why people think it is only AD players that need AS. Casters benefit from it just as well...

Maxing out a skill at lvl 9 seems to pointless as all 3 of Malzahars abilities are so freaking great. Malefic Vision is awesome at lvl 3 for taking down waves and the other two is great harass abilities as well. And really, all 3 combined with a good use of Nether Grasp really makes up for maxing one out asap.

you clearly put a great deal of effort into the guide although i dont agree with the runes blues and yellows being both mana.....i see where your getting at but the overall bonus inst that good.

also why a nashors tooth?

i would never buy majais with this build and the reason you even put it in leaves me to question your skill.

furthermore why on earth deadliness you dont need attack speed at all. or crit stike
furthermore i build malzahar in defence for the survivability.

also by lvl 9 you should have a skill maxed out

but the strats on each champ must have taken some time and for that reason alone ima +1 this
