A wild NIGHTHAWK appeared! Wild NIGHTHAWK used Review Guide!

Review for: Palzm's Master Yi Guide
Constructive Criticism
  • Uhm ok Runes. First I think you could include mana/mana regen glyphs instead of mr glyphs. Mana is helpful for Yi in the jungle, fo sho.
  • First build, I wouldn't recommend getting a FM unless your absolutely raping people left and right and want to just rape moar. Getting a BT that late isn't to good either...
  • Also you should keep Wriggle's late game just because of the free ward. It's so amazing bro.
  • Since your first build is completely offensive, I recommend going Black Cleaver + Stark's instead of FM + BT/FM + Wriggle's.
  • With Black Cleaver + Stark's you get about 1155 DPS on a zero armor target, with BC + BT you get about 1364 DPS on a zero armor target.
  • I recommend starting and leveling Wuju Strike first. I never use to like it but in all honesty it's a bit better jungling. And it increases your damage so much mid/early game.
  • Not sure why you list Tiamat as viable don't mention Stark's >.> Tiamat isn't that great either btw.
  • Mention putting a point in W if your being counter jungled etc.
  • Talk about dragon and baron.
  • Your role in teamfights, and about backdooring.
  • Mention something about TP and how to use it.
  • Mention Triforce cause it's probably one of the best damage items for Yi.

Verdict:

Pretty good. Short and sweet.

To me, its just another Yi guide. And I don't think he needs wriggles lantern: He can definitely jungle fast enough without it, and for that much gold you might as well get a cutlass.

Yes and you have also made another yi guide in which you are fighting for top 10 lol.

Yi most likely will need a wriggles, and even if he doesn't need it, the item itself is very useful

Wriggle's gives lifesteal, ward, and the effect on minions = Faster jungle/Faster farm

Oh ok, I guess its up to personal preference and playstyle. I do like to take that early point in meditation as it makes me feel a bit more secure. I'll have to play around some time and try it without getting it so early.

Also, what do you think about getting Frozen Mallet earlier?

I know it isnt core on him by any means, but maybe it could help out early game more than it could late game?

Just curious... I'm not a hardcore Yi player

I wouldn't finish the frozen mallet early, instead I can get a phage for that lil HP and slow proc.
Like most AD champions, Yi needs his damage items first and maybe some defensive items later.
However, if you are dying a bit too much, then you might want to get some defensive items.
