So what's the reasoning behind maxing your abilities evenly instead of one at a time? Personally I don't see any reason to put more than one point in Event Horizon until later on. I'd much rather max out my Q ASAP for the CDR and passive stacking. Just wondering your reasoning. It may be something I'll end up doing :D

Generally I prefer a balance of abilities. If you want to max them one at a time and it works for you, that's great. I find that the burst combo of a level 3 Q and W works better than a level 4 Q and level 1 W. I prefer a more consistent combo. Also, as the game continues, the extra points in Event Horizon are important to keep the enemies stunned for as long as possible because of increasing damage outputs at the same time as retaining a lot of high DPS yourself. Another reason to keep W about as high as Q is lane clearing: you can one-shot mage minions at W level 3, which is important in roaming. Mainly it's up to you though.

Okay, that makes a lot of sense if you want to roam. I definitely prefer to stick to my lane to farm up my passive and punish my opponent for roaming, but if I ever find myself in a game well-suited for roaming I'll make sure to remember your methods, because yeah W damage with each rank is insane and I'm sure it'll clear waves pretty quickly as long as I don't mind sacrificing a bit of farm.
