Introduction To Green Thumb Zyra

So, this is my first guide, so please feel free to give me some feedback. Love Zyra, even after her hotfix/nerf. Great 5v5 mid lane champ as well a huge resource in a team fighr. So please enjoy.

Runes for Success

As you can tell this is primarily an offence build for her. Get to your start up phases early. Prep that soil. Lay the seeds. Few dead champs for good measure. Opting for the general, steady beef, as to the buld over time rune sets. Also allowing for MP to start a match with 10% since you will be taking cool down in boots instead as well.

Masteries

Once again, a heavy offence choice. I like the utility tree more do to her inate lack of speed. Also the mana per 5 and mana per LVL will help with your cool downs. This will let you max out the presence of the peticularly nasty breeds of flora at your disposal.

Avererage Everyday Weed Killers

I like to start every game the same, some boots, 2 health an one mana pot. Two reasons for this. 1. Allows you match the need of MS early game. 2. Staying power. Ealry game mid can come down to simply remaining in lane. And since at LVL 2, you will have free 30 sec wards i recommend any time your not using them in combat to set one in oppsing bushes. This sneaky little trick keeps them ganks at bay as bell as letting an ususpecting ganker to enjoy your garden.... very unexpededly???? Obviosly less if it is a jungle free game.

Skill Sequence

The sequence is ussually interchangeable after lvl 6. I do recommend keeping W at a higher lvl than either Q or E do to fact at LVL 5. it is a seed every 8 secs, we are talking miracle grow baby. And 20% cooldown reduction is nice too. I also prefer leveling my snare, E, over my base damage Q. I mean, come on, whats apretty flower if no one takes the time to smell it, or die by it.

Summoner Spells

Well, anyone who plays a mid lane champ knows that Ignite is almost indespensible for the ap boost as well as the true damage it helps to pic up kills. Secondly, Flash, great excape tool, can be substituded for ghost, but flash is the more impressive for juking, getting over walla, and just suprise excapes. Must haves for any green thumb worth their seeds.

In Summary

So in general not much in the way of resistances, but the level of burst damage she can throw out in a team fight, tied with the CC with the ult, makes he an incredible team fight asset. But also controlling you mid Lane garden prior to that with her poke power, and sustainable presence, allows you to escentially dominate your lane with a garden-like mine field of horror, so to speak.
