Cho'gath is a very good champion in both early and late game, early game he is great at just lane sustain and harassment and beautifully setting up your teammates for ganking, and late game you are not only near to impossible to kill but you are also dealing damage and Crowd Control

These listed runes provide some early game AP to keep harassment up but also give you some beefiness throughout the game to any opponent.

The masteries up there ^ were chosen for reasons close to the runes, but the difference is the cool down reduction for faster harassment, Creep score, And of course gaining stacks for your ultimate tankiness. Also provides some mana Regen to fuel these mentioned things

This item build covers everything you need as a cho'gath. Armor and mana from the frozen heart guardians to preserve your precious stacks and adding more resist and armor. your abyssal scepter will help out your teams and your own AP while gaining resist to theirs and Rabadons and Rod of Ages will give you some damage along with your tanking.

As Cho'gath You are purely Crowd control and the exhaust will both allow you more cc for your team but also hitting your rupture more often. Flash is, well, flash. Can be used to escape over walls chase an enemy or whatever use you can find for it of course!

First of all Creep Score is key for cho'gath. Cho'gath is ideal for both middle and top lane. I prefer top because of his lane sustain and all the available Creeps with minimal distractions. When laning Its dependent on your enemy, of course. Try and keep your opponent harassed with your combos until they are about half health knowing you can combo and ult to kill them. Of course be sure to be conservative with mana, and hp you will get from your passive. Follow these steps and you should have the lane to yourself.

Just play as the usual tank. No bad engages and no bad focus and missed skill shots. Other then that its good to lead with a Rupture in the midst of there team trying to get their carries so your team can take them down and intercept there skill shots, for example a blitz grab or an ahri taunt.

other builds are a little awkward in the way that they dont find that perfect in between of all skills needed by cho'gath and you can always change the order of the build seeing as though the opposing team is very AP heavy.! I hope this guide helps and GLHF!!!
