Introduction to ~ Mordekaiser tank / ap caster
From the Shadow Isles comes a champion like no other. Standing eight feet tall, concealed within a razor-sharp armored shell is a creature known only as Mordekaiser. Some allege that he is a man, though none have actually seen what lies within the plates that encompass him. There are those who posit that he isn't a living being, but rather a particularly dark specimen of the undead rumored to infest his distant homeland - but such rumors are surely merely the ramblings of the paranoid or the whispers of the insane. What is known is this: Mordekaiser arrived unannounced at the Institute one day and, with the rasp of an echoing sepulcher, requested to join the League of Legends.
As if his fearful visage doesn't disturb enough, his touch bears a sinister plague. Those unfortunate enough to be caught within his grasp fall victim to incurable maladies. In fact, Mordekaiser seems mystically connected to sickness, as if it feeds and comprises part of his chilling essence. He has been seen stalking the slums of Noxus, drawn to the plague-ridden and diseased. However, there is something in his clever tactics, something in his noble stance, something in the tone of his unearthly commands that has led many to believe that Mordekaiser is more than just a foot soldier. Some see the distinguishing characteristics of a general. While many have learned to accept this unsettling possibility, a lingering question keeps them uneasily awake at the witching hour - If Mordekaiser is a general, what nightmarish army lurks at his command?
Okay so one of the main reasons im makeing this guide is to show people who think Mordekaiser is only a tank are wrong. Mordekaiser has the power to be much more then just a tank since all his abilitys are increased useing ap and are all magic damge he can nuke enimes and still stay in the fight for the whole duration of the fight.
i choose these runes because he still is a tank so he needs all the hp and armor / magic resist that he can get. but the magic pen is just so u can destroy enemys alot faster.
Getting these skills in this order is very important in the early laneing part of the game because these ailitys let you stay in ur lane for alot longer then most others since ur passive gives u a shield for useing / hitting enemys with ur abilitys. Also getting these skills in this oreder will allow you to get at lane domanance and people wont want to touch u since they cant even get through that shield of yours. your ulti is a great last hiter and for runing away enemys since it takes a % of there hp slowly like ignite but much more powerful and it works great with ignite. also heals u when used on enemy. also his he can use his W to shield otehrs increaseing there armor and magic resist and doing aeo damge
Mace of Spades - On next hit, Mordekaiser swings his mace with such force that it echoes out, striking up to 3 additional nearby targets, dealing damage plus bonus damage. If the target is alone, the attack deals extra damage.

Creeping Death - Unleashes a protective cloud of metal shards to surround an ally, increasing their armor and magic resistance and dealing damage per second to enemies in the cloud.

Siphon of Destruction - Mordekaiser deals damage to enemies in a cone in front of him. For each unit hit, Mordekaiser's shield absorbs energy.

Children of the Grave - Mordekaiser curses an enemy, stealing a percent of their life initially and each second. If the target dies while the spell is active, their soul is enslaved and will follow Mordekaiser for 30 seconds.
Steals 24/29/34 (+0.04)% of target champion's maximum Health (half stolen initially and half over 10 seconds; deals Magic Damage).
If the target dies while cursed, their soul is enslaved and will follow Mordekaiser for 30 seconds. Mordekaiser gains 20% of their ability power and attack damage, and the pet's stats are enhanced.
Pets can be controlled by holding the alt key and using the right mouse button.
Iron Man - A percent of the damage dealt from abilities is converted into a temporary shield, absorbing incoming damage.
Mordekaiser can lane with just about any one and is one of the best solo laners in game. even though he is a melee champion most of his abilitys can hit multiple tragets other then his ulti. because of this he can gain lane dominance through out the game and this will lead you to a great head start to victory!
[Force of nature] is a must for Mordekaiser since he uses hp to cast abilitys u need all te health regen u can get + it gives u that magic resist u need as a tank and since ur getting this item befor ur boots it still gives u some movment speed.
[Sorcerer's shoes] well they are boots and will give u movment speed to add to ur force of nature with is good for chaseing they also give magic pen since all ur abilitys are magic they will give u taht little bost of damge.
[Warmog's armor] this will be where most of ur tanky hp will come from and some more health regen never hurts nothing more to say about this item since its a must if u want to live.
[Rylai's crystal scepter] finaly we are getting to the good part. with this u finaly gget some ap to start nuking a little. not only that but this gives u a ton of hp and slows ... what more can you ask for.
[Abyssal scepter] this item gives more ap so more damge for u ++ and you get some more magic pen witch will help alot since it is a aura so ur partners get the magic pen too great for team fights and also more magic resist.
[Rabadon's deathcap] by now you are fed as a mother****r and are just rapeing. this well says everything already ap + more ap??? = rape!
since you are the tank you should be the first one in the fight.but dont charge in there like a mad man. being the tank its your duty to go in tere and absorbe as much damge as posible. But since ur also an ap caster you can also dish out a good amount of damge to them too. being mordekaiser you cant really initiate that well so i suggest ethier planing to gank there whole team and trap them or you can ghost in while your partners all follow you and FOCUS THE SQUISHY!... i dont know how many times ive been paired up with a noob team and they deside to focus there tank. haveing said that YOU ARE THE TEAM LEADER. you charge in the fight and every one follows you so dont be scared to take charge and plan ganks and tell who to focus this will help you win alot more team fights.
