Ranked Play

Preferable lanes are solo top, mid or support as last resort or just to take it away from the other team. Stay passive and try land your Snare and pool, get aggressive at 6.

Your shield is the best CC killer spell in the game, use it wisely.

Masteries

Masteries are pretty well explained in many guides for AP Carries, 9/0/21 explains itself to any seasoned player.

Farming

Try to land your Q on the cannon one and just use the pool on the lil creeps so it hits both melees and caster minions.

Pros / Cons

The Black Shield can be a two edged sword that gets you a bit too groovy or cocky to get on towerdives, as it only blocks spells for it lasting time or once it runs out, Be careful about it, melee carries eat you alive even if you shield yourself, Thats why you should shield the teammate that gets focused.
