you obviously do have to sacrifice them, anyway Iv got 4 items that give health magic res and armour respectavly, maybe you could swap rylais for hextech gunblade, but I like the health and consistent slow from rylais and escpecially how it lasts for the entire duration of your ulti does that make u happy about spell vamp that u obviously have a fetish for

You can either get spell vamp, or be tanky as **** as Mordekaiser, because you have to get into Melee Range.

Spell vamp allows you to build more damage, and still be tanky, while armor/mr/health let you tank more damage.

I don't have a fetish for Spell Vamp cause it sounds nice, i like spell vamp, because it's too efficient to not build on Mordekaiser.

Mord isn't really meant to be a bursty champion, hes supposed to be a bulky champion who can deal lots of sustained damage thanks to his shield. My point being, yes this build can work, but you're wasting a few slots. Not to mention, if you can't build deathfire grasp/lich bane all in one trip, you're going to be buying items that build into these two items (sheen, codex) that won't benefit you nearly as much as other mid game components to late game items would.

Who cares what hes meant to be? this is a burst build that works, lol sheen and codex being uselesS? ok sheens proc is relativly bad but its cheap and u can get magic res and ap before it, also codex gives cooldown reduction which is really good and after them Deathfire Grasp and Lichbane are realy cheap, whenvever I play I usually find that after rylais I can get sheen and also get 40 ap or 24 magic res along with it and I always get DFG in 1 go

Wrong reason to vote down man, do you vote down a xin zhao build for getting no spell vamp or significant health/resists? what no? then you shouldnt vote down this one. this build isnt for a tanky morde, it deals more damage than most champions (if morde is at melee range) while also having more survivability than them, cookie cutter builds are boring and are not always the best, I bet you havnt even tried this morde build, iv played many types of morde including all 3 of the highest rated morde builds on this site and the top rated 1 from another site and I do the best with my build. with this build I have never lost a match with it being my fault and so far in game Im not lying but I have never seen a better morde player than myself

You don't have to sacrifice damage to get health/resists/spell vamp on Mordekaiser.

I'm lost as to why you have included Deathfire Grasp into the build. Lich Bane I *kind of* understand since after all, Mordekaiser is a melee champion. However, most of his damage comes from his ranged spells and I feel as if you're sacrificing way too much bulk, bulk that Morde utilizes as an incredibly dominant advantage. I'm also lost as to why you're using a Zhonya's. Morde is a relatively low cooldown champion, has a built in shield mechanic, and incredible amounts of spell vamp when built correctly. In all honestly, Deathfire and Zhonyas seem like a waste of item slots that could be used to give this build a lot more bulk. However, I do like the unique thought that went into the build and I'll commend you for that.

I dont get exactly what you mean by "bulk" do u mean armour magic res and health? Deathfire grasp with 400 ap will deal I 44% dmg to there hp which is like another ultimate but all the damage is instant and you dont get a ghost, it also reduces your cooldowns further so you never have to wait for your abilities ever. when fighing within melle range Lichbane will generate 400 dmg every 2 seconds beacause you will be able to spamm all your abilities and get the proc every 2 seconds it also gives movement speed and magic res. Zhonyas hourglass gives you 50 armour so you will have slightly over 150 of both armour and magic res and also if you are stunned and focused you can pop the proc on zhonya and then watch them all scatter as ur teammates pwn them and then u can start owning again when those 2 seconds are over, believe me I ave tried many different builds on morde including pure ap, pure tank and lots of life steal but these items give you the best mixture between damage and defence
