Wukong is a champion most people dubbed unworthy as soon as he was available to the public. I too fell into the thought process that this monkey just sucked. Now I find him to be quite effective at harassing and offers himself quite well to team fights. While he will always be outclassed when it comes to ranked play, he will always be fun to use.

Self explanatory. If you want you can use some flat AD runes, but i prefer the durability.

I find it quite important to start with the dorans blade. The 100 hp and 10 AD really helps you in your early game.

The first item you should build are your shoes. The 15% cooldown allows you to harass more effectively.

After shoes you need to build a sheen. This point in the game is when your damage output greatly increases when you use your burst to harass. I do not complete the trinity until late game because i find there are better items to spend your money on until then.

Now that we have the sheen, we need some AD to make the most of it. This will happen in the form of the Bloodthirster. Good AD, Lifesteal. Keeps you in lane pumping damage.

Next item you should get is the frozen mallet. The HP makes you much more durable, along with its passive that will prevent enemies from running.

At this point we will complete the trinity.

Then we move on to atmas impaler for the needed armor boost along with some nice AD.

The last item you will want is warmogs. This will allow you to get the most out of atmas. However if you are facing a high AD team, a sunfire cape works very well.

Nimbus strike is key to harass. Max this first.
Your Q is used to increase your DPS. Max this second
Your shadow jitsu only needs 1 point at level 3. Max this at the end

The most effective burst you have is E, followed by auto attack, followed by Q, followed by shadow jitsu escape.

Use whatever you like. Just use your brain and things should be alright. I just prefer Exhaust because it allows you to prevent running away, and i prefer flash because it can immediately turn a bad position into a good position.

Wukongs job is an offtank. While the main tank initiates, Wukong follows by using his ult to disrupt enemy retaliation. If the team focuses targets properly, the enemy team will not be able to effectively retaliate because of spin to win. Not to mention the 1000 damage it does help.

The key to wukong farming is in his numbus strike. It you can effectively time the skill to kill creeps and to hit opposing champions, you will do well in winning your lane.
