OK I have updated all of the documentation to comply with her build right now

thank you! Nice catch. I recently merged the Treeline and Rift builds and forgot to delete the cap.

On old Cass I used to have a set of 9 Mpen Glyphs but I did way worse damage. AP is more preferable on glyphs.

As far as the MS Quints go, I only included those on Tanky Cass. Tanky Cass also gets the Mercury's Treads instead of SS so you can follow my rationale that I will let her early damage fall off in favor of much better survivability.

I really like the direction of the Cass Cannon build. I looked through every viable item on her to find ones that lacked as much defensive power as possible in order to maximize damage from start to finish. It is how I build ADC Marksmen more or less. You'll notice I get Twin Shadows for her on that build - while lower on damage they are cheap and provide that easily- overlooked escape. It's better to slow an down before it's in range so they don't have a window of opportunity to burst you.

With Lich Bane, your AA staff will have some extra AP to work with. Lich Bane will also force your first autoattack to act as a Twin Fang. Your Twin Fangs leave room for autoattacks in between casts you know.

Also, 5% movement on Lich Bane, 6% movement on Twin Shadows, 12% on Furor and whatever % movement on your Q. I am looking forward to having a game last long enough for me to use this full build!

Yea you're right, Riot really screwed her over. Hopefully she will get some decent buffs...

I see what you mean about the tank vs glass cannon build. Makes sense!

One more thing, do you really think MS quints are that good on new Cass? I would personally rather have that bit of extra AP since you will be farming with your poisons and twin fangs early on...so every little bit of AP helps with that right?

Maybe you should experiment with a MPen rune page? MPen quints and blues AND reds for example?

I know what you mean about the items. I have 2 different builds depending if you want to build "Cass Cannon" or "Tank". The Tanky build throws out AP items that don't come with utility in order to balance your stats.

I have yet to do a full writeup on her and her matchups because I am still learning her new playstyle. The way I used to play her was by sitting from 10,000,000 miles away and launch Noxious Blasts at enemies and watch them die, and now she needs to engage constantly with her Twin Fang.

Spirit Visage works great with the spell vamp on her Twin Fang as well as provide her much needed MR and HP, and Abyssal Mask will help tremendously with your close encounters. Abyssal Scepter has the same range as Twin Fang.

The %AP benefit from her passive is great but if you focus too much on damage you will still get slaughtered easily. One missed Q could mean certain death. She has great base damages and terrible AP ratios by the way. A build incorporating full MPen could be the way to go as well. It's a really tough spot that Riot left her in.

Hi there, glad to see that you are looking at the Cass rework positively and working with it rather than just being negative which is what most people are doing :P Being positive never hurts xD

As far as your guide is concerned I like it, but don't you think that getting the high AP items is a more efficient use of her passive?

Maybe put in some matchups :)
And talk about how to lane and farm as well, like if you should use your Noxious Blast on the back line of minions as well as Miasma to kill them all or if you should just use one of those skills, since you said yourself that killing poisoned minions is the best way to stack your passive.

Q still does very good base damage, so with Haunting Guise and sorcs you deal plenty of damage with Q. Adding more points into W is good for the cooldowns and added slow, however if you reserve your W points then your E is easier to last hit with since you don't need to worry about W stealing your mana regen reward on E.

Do you think maxing W second is good? It haves a large poison range so you should be hitting your Twin Fang all the time on the enemy, and you can farm quite easily, as well as pushing the lane with it too, and with the zoning it gives I think it's a safe choice if you can't land your Q's well. Tell me what you think.

I have now refined the build after playing some more games with her. I have added Doran's Ring to the starting items for Summoner's Rift and shuffled a few other items around. Instead of building each final item one by one, I have decided a more balanced approach is needed since my early game suddenly took a nose dive.

I just played 2 games of Cassiopeia in Summoner's Rift. Here's how I see the Reworked Cassiopeia
Early Game: Get Doran's Ring, then proceed to farm until you can buy Tear, high kill potential with ignite and E here, as E deals about 100 dmg per hit.
Mid: The same, but playing more aggressively, and landing more spells.
Late Game: Same as mid.

Only last-hit with E, max out W as it gives wider range of poison, allowing you to land more Q's. Buying Rylais allow her to land constant slows. Easy to play, even against people like LeBlanc.

Then again, all these may be wrong, I only played 2 Cassiopeia games in my entire league career.

I just played a game with the new Cass and I must say barrier and heal no longer work for her. Nor do any of her abilities. She just dies.

I'm thinking that Exhaust and Flash, and replacing Rod of Ages with Sorc+Furor makes the most sense now.
