Ability Order
Staggering Blow (PASSIVE)
Nautilus Passive Ability
Introduction
Even though Nautilus doesn't have a heal, he has a lot of early power and health needed to win lane in The Fields of Justice. These are the characteristics of supports.
1. Avoid getting cs! Your carry needs it! You will have items and runes to get gold!
2. You are in lane to assist in kills not kill!
3. Warding is a must! Make sure to have some gold to cover the ganking spots!
4. In late game, make sure to be with your team to initiate and assist!
5. Understand everyone's job!
6. Rush your gold producing items!
7. Get items with auras that give armor and help fight the enemy team's carry!
8. Know how and when your abilities to make yourself the most useful you can be!

Nautilus uses the mastery shorthand build of 0-21-9. This provides the defensive masteries needed to last through team fights and the utility masteries to help your team in a very significant way.
Defense
There are certain areas of the defensive mastery tree that help Nautilus in ways that have a much more troublesome way in game when considering the livelihood of your foes. The mastery tree for defense should focus on getting to certain points on the tree. These are as follows:
: Provides health per level which fuels one of your important abilities which will be discussed in the section titled Nautilus' Skill Sequence.
Veteran's Scar : Grants an additional 30 health at the start of a game. This is vital because obtaining all the health you can is key. Once again, this will be further discussed in the chapter labelled Nautilus' Skill Sequence.
: Nautilus' abilities have great power, but a really lengthy cool down. Sadly this deters summoners from playing as the titan of the depths. Getting this point is key.
: The nature of Nautilus' abilities is crowd control and a very in your face concept of play style. Being able to last through the enemies crowd control as well as other extraneous abilities can save your life and win team fights for quite a while.
Utility
The main focus of this tree is the movement speed increase as well as an increase in ward sight. This will aid in overall team awareness and help prevent ganks from the enemy team.
: The movement speed will help you move about faster which will make people more cautious because, let's face it, you are playing one scary champion.
: This increases the range of the area your wards affect. It is only a small percentage, but gives you an advantage nonetheless.
