Surge and flash are good spells on GP as well

If you have some early game trouble you might want to get frozen mallet before phantom dancer.
Trinity force is the best early game item on gp but I find its less effective in the long run. So maybe grab just a sheen and sell it later if you really don't like Infinity Edge as your first major item. Its best to play safe and farm early game but don't forget to harass with your Q.

If you get solo lane vs 2 make sure not take too much damage from the range when you try to harass/last hit minions with Q. If they are doing a large amount of dps, hug the turret, those minion kills aren't worth a death or even worse the lose of your tower.
Solo lane vs 1 is easy for the most part because most teams place the tank at solo top. Just be patient and wear them down with your Q. Don't over use Q to the point that you run out of mana, also make sure to grab a ward the first chance you get.

I feel that cd per level glyphs are going to be better in the long run compared to crit or crit damage. The reason being; Gp needs some cd and I would rather get the cd glyph than buy those **** cd boots. Merc's treads are needed far more than the cd boots btw. Yes, I do know that its not as much cd as the boots but over all it works out better.
