Well, i pick Armor Penetration runes to give massive damage:
- Some mages and squishy champions have around 30 armor, with 25 penetrated, its about full damage you give to him.
- Good also to put tanks in danger, at start and mid game, later, if they get lots of armor, we can use AP items such as Last Whisper, that gives you 40% penetration (i.e. from 100 armor, only 60 is being counted).
Mana/5 Secs:
- Very usefull early game when harassing an oponent with skills could make you get oom (out of mana) quickly.
- Also, we need to think that time, when they ganked you, and you were oom, if you had these runes...
Armor:
-A lot usefull when combating fire to fire, by having extra armor, enemy's damage output will be lower on you, and your higher damage will let his *** in danger.

Ofense and Utility, extra defense is ever good, but the best defense is attack, so we go for attack :P.
- Bonus Exp
- Bonus Buff Time
- Extra Crit Chance
- Spells Improve&
No much to explain here, little bonuses that makes the difference.

Items are a very variable thing, what i generally pick, is listed on build.
But there are some variations listed below, on next chapter.

Explanations:

Starting with boots will give you the advantage to be on gank spot first, some potions to keep you in lane or to safe run from gank spot till your tower or base. Then,Boots of Swiftness, i like they cuz its the better speed thing to run from and to, when running from enemy and running to kill enemy. The Boots of Mobility makes you wait 5 secs after stop attacking to get quickly, so that isnt so usefull, only to move from your lane to gank, but lvl 6 makes run a little bit easier you will just need to finish it jumping into enemy.

Phage makes run more easier, every attack you have a chance to slow you enemy, so he cant run sucessfully and you got an kill, you finish withFrozen Mallet later.

Black Cleaver makes enemys armor go lower and lower (max: -45 armor after 3 hits), and gives attack speed also. Good for squishy enemys, they will take extra damage :P

Bloodthirster for lifesteal and big damage (100 total bonus damage at max stacks), sometimes i do 2 Bloodthirsters.

When fighting some specific champions, you may need buy some items instead of others.
