Why does it say the guides condition is "Ideal" when the move descriptions and even some items are so outdated it's not even funny. Although the poster raised some good points on how to play olaf, the guide needs to be updated.

Get rid of Mercury's Treads on jungle build and replace with Ninja Tabi. You are wasting the tenacity.

Please update this guide, as Phage no longer slows and Force of Nature hasn't existed for an entire season, now. Also, some of the wording is difficult to understand when reading for grammatical reasons. Not a guide-killer, but I thought it was worth noting. Otherwise, pretty helpful guide. Thanks for taking the time to do this.

And I am close to giving it downvote. Mostly because it is HORRIBLY outdated and for some reason it is showing as ideally fresh build. This is ******** - Phage changes came, popular items changed (for a reason), Olaf got his abilities rework and we still don't see anything new here. I guess I will wait for week or two with making a vote, I just hope that author can make a new Olaf review...

[And yeah, this is important. His skillset changed, so he might do much better with another items...]

really? alone from abilitys he gets very much ad. he also is one of the champs with most life without items, and lifesteal he gets from abilitys, too.

look at hmmm, twitch! without items: no ad, no life, no lifesteal, nothing :D

isn't it weird that i used to use Sion then started using Olaf when I got enough ip. i also am using Nasus again, and am a best with him. I haven't used Nasus since i first started LoL

Being someone who mains Olaf, and has mained him for a while, I must disagree with your masteries, if you are trying to build Olaf as a bruiser. Olaf is NOT a tank, he is nowhere CLOSE to a support, and he is most definitely is NOT squishy. I go with a 21/0/9 mastery page for Olaf for maximum damage, and getting mana and mana regen in the utility tree. As for your skills, I usually get Q > E > W at lvls 1-3, then max Q then W for maximum harrassment damage. At level 9, Undertow usually hits for about 300 damage or so without full build. As for summoner spells, I usually grab either Exhaust and Flash, or Flash and Ignite, depending on the enemy team.
