Olaf is a really strong melee DPS champion who uses true damage to kill his opponents he is a really strong anti tank but is not to be the 1st one into a battle. This is how I like to play olaf there is no right or wrong way to play him but I like to be healthy, he is a really fun champion to play, have fun. p.s sorry for any spelling mistakes. this is my 1st guide so tell me any ways i can make it better for you.

The runes I like to take with olaf are really for early game and sustain, remember these are based on personal choice and how you want to play olaf. my Seal's are armour for the AD brutes early game, glyph's are magic resist for casters(ovs),mark's for the armour pen just I case and quint's for the attack damage.

My masteries are for mainly attack and offensive tree with a little defence but it for you to chouse again because its based on personal choice it has worked for me since i started to play as him.

i like to open with cloth armour and five health pots, since you are normally against AD brutes on top (with jungle) you will need the armour and pots never hurt to have, when I go back I normally have enuf to get a health crystal and mabie a long sword what i will build into phage witch in my opinion is a really strong item for its slow and its damage, next i will go for boots and ninja tabi but can be switched out for any based on your needs, now in the mid game (mabie) you will want to get giants belt and build into frozen mallet again more damiage and slows a hell of a lot, next item to build is randoimans omen witch has a lot of health and armour with a really good passive's, now for the warmongers witch is a strong item for health witch is real good with olaf and the health regen isn't bad to have in the lining phase, now for the atma's impaler with the amount of health you will be on now the passive will give you a good boost on AD but will also give you armour and crit chance, the black clever is a really good item for olaf because of the AD and the health. all the items can be changed for your needs in the game, if you are been focused down builed what's hurting you the most.

I like to start with wrekless swing but as i keep saying its up to you, it is really good for hurasment in lain, then i get ever undertow or Vicious Strikes witch gives you life steal, then i try to max out my wrekless swing because of the damige but it hurts you to use it so take care, at max level it dose 340 True damige (ignores armour) but dose 136 to you, witch i think is a fair trade, then I like to max undertow, it is really good for chasing because its cooldown is renewed (nerly to full) when you pick your axe back up, i get my ulti when ever i can because it it ignores any CC castersed on him for up to 6 seconds when not activated it gives him armour pen between 10 to 20%.

in my opinion you need team work for all champions in the game and if you cant then there is no point in playing, I'm sorry it has to be said you need to work with your team to win, with olaf just use your undertow to slow and just do damage.
