also have you tried furor on boots early for nasus? You can actually use it early for farming and getting clear of attacks, then use it for chasing into end game. It works with all your spells (I think)...so strong.

Hey, thanks for the response. Honestly you should try hybrid pen marks plus two armor pen quints and one swiftness quint. I've been testing this and the dps this build gives with your ult and spirit fire is making me question the effectiveness of life steal quints even more. Actually there is a diamond five player who does not use lifesteal quints, and his guide is the best i've read. Go to http://www.lolking.net/guides/156983 ...and tell me what you think. you really have to try some of his ideas. I've been using armor pen quints 2 plus 1 swiftness and my play has improved 100%.

shurelyas reverie is a good item, but a personal choice, and as good as it might be to countering kiting, the fact that it gives zero, completely nothing in terms of tankiness, or durability, sets me back to not buying it, unless I am REALLY ahead of the enemy. Finding the gold to buy that item puts you back too much that the enemy will hurt you a lot and you basically will be too behind in terms of tankiness. Still its a personal choice and opinion. As for AD marks, I do not use them only 3, the rest I use 6 marks in armor penetration, I use 3 ad marks to get start off with a flat 60 AD, which seems to help last hitting better as well as looking a tad more intimidating than starting off with 57 ad.

As for your opinion on Lifesteal quints, opinion or not, its completely wrong, there isn't a single pro player left who doesn't use lifesteal quints in top lane, there is no other substitute, definitely not armor penetration, since their quints suck horribly and mobility would possibly be the only other alternative.

however I respect your opinion, everyone has their on playstyle, I just been playing nasus since start off season 1 and nothing feels stronger and better than lifesteal quints at the moment, it makes his sustain broken.

I dunno you need more options as far as items go like ancient golum, which gives good sustain early and kite-protection, thornmail, which if you have auto-attacker in your lane AND as enemy jungler is just friggen awesome mid-game. If Nasus is countered top he simply has to get either golum or shurelyas for the mana and health reg. Also you should try building sword of the dead king on nasus at least once when the other team is stacking health--so very strong. AD marks make no sense on nasus. Life steal quints only work well on easier match-ups, because they only kick in at about level 6. You should try speed quints, and maybe one quint of armor pen. Nice job

I really like this build, but do you find it necessary to have exhaust? as Nasus already has wither, wouldnt another spell be more useful to the build?
