A support champion with a burst caster build which is just not viable in anything except perhaps co-op vs bots. Also the layout seems to be written by a kid, not very professional.

This Zilean can be played either in the support role or middle, it's viable for both because you don't actually need to farm minions for the items during the laning phase.

Phormal - Personally I don't understand how you can say that a guide is pretty "solid" yet vote it down. If the guide helps you understand a character better isn't the purpose of the guide accomplished?

TVMan - Yes, it's pretty much an AP Zilean guide however the playstyle is designed so that you do not need minions in order to get items. While this guide can obvious work for an AP Zilean middle as well having an AP Zilean in either the support role or AP role is better then just a Zilean with support items. Being able to do more AoE damage in team fights and revive a teammate with more hitpoints is so valuable it shouldn't even be questioned in my opinion.

Pretty solid guide but the blocks of text with no visual aides is what causes me to vote this down. I found it confusing at times because of this simple mistake. :/

The Doran rings are only for early substain in the lane and the Sorc shoes are for more magic pen. since you don't need CD when you already have CDpLVL Glyphs and Rewind. Ionian boots would be pointless and Deathfire Grasp provices a "third" time bomb which blows carries up before they can react with the double time bomb.. but if you understood the guide and the champion you may know that.

Strong Guide. I suggest people READ the whole guide to understand what author means by the build. I use this or variation of this every time I play Zilean. Great job!

Any thoughts about Athene's Unholy Grail? I think both the Cooldown Reduction and the huge Mana Regeneration suit Zilean well, not to mention the 80 AP. Maybe get it instead of Deathfire Grasp. Or even replace the Archangel's Staff since you dont need the huge Mana Pool any more.

Bravo, its a very simple build but you should try to add some BB coding (its alot easier than you would think) it really makes the guilde more appealing
