I will leave it short and sweet. I would say that one of her "pro" is that this allows you to farm fairly well against similar champs. Thus giving you an added edge and once more proving that a "fed Orianna is hard to deal with" ;)

My thanks to the people who gave me tips on correcting the appearance of my build, it has sharpened it up immensely.

Please check out my replies to the questions you have posted, and give counter arguements. More input is always welcome, and just because I don't agree with something doesn't mean I can't be persuaded to change.

I hear a lot of suggestions for . In my opinion, Orianna's range is just fine without the minimal boost that flash will give. Also, will enable you to SEE a gank coming before it arrives, and you should never be caught off balance. I run on AP carries that have an early game hard CC ability, such as or . That surprise might land you that blow, enabling a gank, or a kill. With Orianna, I find she pushes forward, and as long as you are vigilant, usually your retreat will be straight back. helps you scout a lot better, gives your team vision on strategic points. If you're running a team that DOESN'T already have it, get it. It is way more valueable than a short little warp over top of trees that you can sometimes be chased over. As for , I would not run it because Orianna has great damage by herself, and good range to finish off those low health runners without a need for a burst of DOT. Support SHOULD be taking it, but if your team comp doesn't have this spell, you will suffer from it. Seeing something coming beforehand will often times save you where a flash never will.

Khazem, that's a very good point, but one answered in my item build itself. The reason I build archangel's so fast, is because by the time it is done, you will NEED that mana regen and damage to continue spamming spells. I would never hold off on building Archangels, because with the tear of the godess the way it is, it gives no more mana regen than a meki pendant, and the passive max mana gain you also get from archangels, there is no reason to not complete this item and get the damage and the mana regen you're paying for early on. After you get archangel's staff, your mana issues should be extremely lessened, and as laning progresses into teamfights you should feel comfortable bursting people repeatedly. If need be, remember your utility mastery and grab blue buff when you are able.

I've seen the catalyst build, and tried it. Your damage output is horrible, you are not able to keep up with the other champion's damage scaling, and having that health early on is far worse than having damage early on with a ranged character. If you are taking a lot of damage with the range that you have, enough that you would build a health item before a damage item, get a lane change and keep practicing. Juking is the key with a ranged champion, and as you get better with it, you too will find that transitioning from mana to hp/mana early on to be extremely lacking in damage. Alter the build if you find that you are having a rough time, adjust it as need be. Build a , followed up with a . If you know what you're doing with Orianna, you should be able to perform well without immediate transition into .

I must suggest Flash. Flash + Command: Dissonance = peace out. Also, something that I wish someone told me before I wrote my first guide: I would use double brackets to enclose full names of Abilities/whatever instead of the bracket icon=. especially in the midst of text like your Teamwork chapter. For example, it would look like,

" Command: Protect opens up all the world to you."

Just trying to help out. It makes your life easier and your guide prettier :]

1) Summoner Spells: You are an AP Carry. You should NOT be getting Clairvoyance, that is the job of a support. You also don't need Ghost as you get a movement boost from Dissonance. Flash will serve you much better in escaping/chasing.

2) Items: You shouldn't be getting an Archangel's so early. You should get Tear and start building it, then Rod of Ages, then Deathcap. Rabadon's should never be an end-game item for any AP Carry. And then it's your choice for the rest; it's really situational.

Upvoted though because overall this guide is pretty solid.

Like the build, but I have a question.

By maxing Dissonance first, don't you have some mana trouble? I'm only assuming this because I prefer maxing Attack first and it already gets me kind of mana starving =/

Also, you should leave CV for the supprt and pick up Ignite if you're going for a build like this :>

That's a very valid suggestion. I've often times suffered either from lack of steady income or squishyness if I'm playing against a very skilled opponent. Occasionally I will get a mana crystal to go with the passive on Archangel's staff to give extra AP if I'm just not doing as well for gold. I'll follow it up with the full catalyst, and that often gets me back on my feet. Good reply, forgot to add that tidbit in.

Solid build. However, the only suggestion I have is to build the catalyst portion of your RoA before the blasting wand portion. The passive helps for mid game sustain way more than a blasting wand will and also gives you some AP since you've picked up your archangel's as a first item.
