Epic build, these Philosophers really help you to stay in your lane and make farming much easier.

Great build +1

The only change I make in items is when im having a good score I go for a Rabadon's instead of a Frozen Heart (talking about build 1 here), been having excelent results :D

Keep up the good work

Played a game finally...got a really positive result!
The idea of stacking Philosopers is strange but sure is effective!
I also modified the build a bit, buying an amplifying tome/blasting wand and an elixir instead of one of the philosopers, which i buy after the next recall...seems more effective this way (it's hard to lane for 20 mins without AP...gotta make up for that XD)

you have my approval =D

I have used this build in a couple of battles and have only got positive results. It suits my play style and makes Orianna an awesome support. She's not mana starved early game as I have experienced with other builds. Atm I always buy Boots of Mobility as I havnt got all the swiftness runes yet. Makes Orianna jet around the map, placing wards, helping to gank, rescueing teammates in trouble and the best is leaving chasers like Yi in the dust.
You got my vote mate

PS: no problems surviving with this build. If you getting beat-up means your positioning is wrong. For example was in a crazy closely matched battle with both teams averaging 15-22 deaths! Except for me who only had 2. We won in the end. (got 8-2-19, next two only 4-1-12 (each) cause the other teams surrendered early.

Oh and getting enough gold quickly for items isnt a problem if you farm correctly.

This is really a good and in depth build for Orianna. You have covered pretty much every single aspect of how to play this little robot girl. If people would read it all they are going to be much better Orianna players =)
But i have to say that i think it's kinda late you get some beef. You need 5700 gold for the items before Glacial Shroud. This is typically around level 7-9 for me, and by then some of the hostile dps players are starting to rough me up.
In my last game I went 3-9-14. Especially an enemy Jarvan roughed me up and killed me multiple times early/mid game. In the end he couldn't kill me even though he spend his ulti and every single spell on me, and I was able to get away. Just a thought =)

Good work +1

I really want to try the first build with some modifications early game (just getting early AP in addition to the two philosoper stones) but i keep getting "tank pls" and ZOMG full carry team almost all the time so that i have to use Rumble :/ (and fail lately...having a bad day i guess XD)

I'll let you know if i'm able to play her using this build...liked it in theory XD

Edit: post destroyed because rage does not belong on here.

I WILL SAY THIS: PLEASE COMMENT WHEN YOU VOTE. DON'T JUST BE A DOUCHE AND DOWNVOTE WITHOUT TELLING ME WHY. For all I know you just looked at the items and went "lol, wtf is this guy doing, this is an AP champ!" without reading the why or even attempting the build.

I saw this champion and wondered exactly how a support worked. I have tried your first 2 builds (allowing to not be so squishy).. and as I am not 30 nor do I have any of the recommended runes atm.. I find this to have been extremely helpful.. My first Bot game I was 7/0/13 and my last pvp was 6/4/22 (closest to memory with the current wait to log in and check other scores)..

I voted +1, I really love this setup and explanation.. I feel if I had all at my disposal it could be much better.. I have only tried one other and it didn't meet my style, so KUDOS.

hi,

first of all really nice build. I tried them all also a fully CDR. I prefer not to go on RoA. Yes extta life but with AA staff, philo and frozen heart u have pretty much enough mana i think and fter I finished frozen heart and abyssal szepter u have enough survivbi;ity just have to hang in the game. Then i go straight for AP. At that moment u have enough to survive quiet well. I ended uop with 500+ AP in late game still. So it gave me some really nioce games

Good work though but everyone should adjust to his gameplay and favoriets :)
