Orianna Passive Ability
Introduction
Orianna has a very unique passive ability that stacks to 3 and if you can get there you start to shred. Her ball can be used to make people run in certain directions and can be used to initiate team fights extremely well.
This is more of an assassin/support build and have been getting lots of compliments on it while playing. (well usually after a game since everyone is so doubtful)
I know you are like WTF when you see that its Defensive but stacking Ardor with Archmage's Savvy and Alacrity is what its all about. Those 3 talents is what really matters, I have switched around and played with the points but this is what works best for me.
Nothing in the utility really interests me for Orianna. If you don't spam your abilities at the beginning of a game you shouldn't need to worry about mana rejen, But if you are rush a maki pendant after boots it will help.

Now your masteries will compliment your first 3 items the most.
Berserker Greaves is the most amazing item for Orianna early game. Her range is a little shorter than lots of other champs so running in and out to get an auto attack off can really push back your enemy. If you find you cant get close to your target(s) try switching lanes with someone.
Nashor's Tooth is probably the best item for this build, it's AP AS cooldown reduction and mana rejen, and the AP AS all increases due to masteries.
Malady is next this should put your Attack speed over 2.0 making it very easy to get to 3 stacks on your passive ability. It also does dmg every attack and lowers resistance so if you learn to use Q while auto attacking it can do pretty amazing damage.
Next is Rabadon's Deathcap. This will pretty much complete the nessesary items to do very well. It multiplies all your runes masteries and 2 other AP items increasing you to ~320 AP and every AP build i have done i usually get to the same number at equal times.
After those 4 it's really a matter of who your team is struggling with the most. If its a tank or a vlad definately get a Madreds Bloodrazer. If you spend alot of time chasing people down the crystal scepter will do you good. If you are doing well and have no issues get Lich Bane.

It's good to get Attack first so you can use your ball to scout out bushes without dying. Getting your shield is really good for support and is a solid second for me. Just build up your skills equally so they are all effective throughout the game and not waiting for a certain cooldown all the time.
So having your ball away from you is probably the best way to confuse your enemy, in team fights its harder to see the ball making it easy to sneak your W move in while ppl are standing beside it.
Your ball can be an amazing initiator of team fights. Just send that sucker in then use your ulti and your W right afterwards. It will group them up and slow them down making it easy for your team to dash in for the kill.
While laneing with someone at the beginning be sure to harass always poking and preventing them from using the bush to hide.
Your ball can act as a ward so remember to reveal the surrounding environment if a character is missing, might save your life.
