Added "Mana Problems" section - wrote about how to conserve

Introduction

Pantheon is a great champion due to the fact that he is very versatile. He has a crucial stun in team fights, his early and mid game are excellent, and finally he is able to backdoor with his ultimate and ghostblade!

Runes

Greater Mark of Desolation / Greater Quintessence of Desolation - We grab the ArPen marks and quints for maximizing your damage output.

- Taking this will improve your mid to late game survivability.

Greater Seal of Replenishment - A no brainer for a Pantheon player, although it has been brought to my attention of the mp5/ per lvl seals may work better, I just have not tried these out.

Mana Problems

Pantheon is an extremely mana hungry champion. That is why we grab the MP5 runes. With the MP5 runes in the lower levels (2-5) you will ONLY be poking with your Q. When you are SURE of a kill then go spam your skills, otherwise it is a waste.

You should avoid spamming your enemy with Q at lvl 1, just focus on last hitting, as you gain levels you gain mana points. After a few levels you should have enough mana to poke and enough mp5 to regen all.

When you've sucessfully killed your enemy in your lane, you SHOULD have enough time for your MP5 runes to go to work and regen a sufficient amount of mana.

In team fights you will most likely run OOM by the end of a long fight. The reason why we don't get more MP is the fact that when you finally run OOM, the fight should be over and you will have time to push and auto attack. You shouldn't be worrying about fighting another fight 1v1, if you are then either defend or b.

Masteries

We go with a 21 / 0 / 9 build for maximum damage output, pretty simple.

Team Work

Pantheon can do HUGE damage in team fights if played right. You are generally going to want to poke with your Spear Shot spell before the fight begins.

In a team fight you are going to want to Aegis of Zeonia as much as possible while spamming your Heartseeker Strike as well. If you get properly placed in a team fight, normally like you can hit 2 to 3 champions with your E.

Targetting is a key issue for Pantheon. You will want to be focusing the squishies but if you have to run through a tank and an off-tank it is not worth it, just stun the highest threat or lowest hp and use your Heartseeker Strike.

Crucial Stuns

You are going to want to stun certain champions in a fight once they commit.

Once Malzahar uses his ultimate on a champion (hopefully it is not you) you will want to stun him AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, this will cancel out his ultimate.

Once Tryndamere uses his ultimate, just like Malz, stun him. It will prevent him from getting those last few crucial hits in before he does (which he most likely will).

Those are just a couple of examples, be smart about your stunning, it will help a tonne!

REMEMBER: Wait to use your stun until the champion is actually casting their ult, if you do it before they still have it. Common sense right?

Summary

Pantheon is an early to mid game shut down champion. You play him to get the enemy team yelling at each other. Once that begins it tends to shut down their gameplay drastically as their mind is focused on arguing with the teammates.

The items, runes, masteries, and skills sequence is very straightforward. Of course modifying which items you get first is always a possibility, it is not a requirement.

I have developed this build with a high ranked solo que player, so I should be getting good reviews if you are playing the champion right!
