great guide. but TBH i still prefer maxing HSS over spear.
with 2 dorans u can deal as much dmg with a lvl 2 HSS as a lvl 4 spear.
u dont really need to pair it with aegis. u can cast it without the stun(i mean catch the enemy off gaurd).
and i dont know why, but i miss the days of panth mid :S. he could counter any mid hero from morg to kass.

Amazing guide sir! I had the exact rune setup already for garen, so no expense for me. Took solotop against a xin zhao. Level 1, I poked him with my spear shot to check how much it would chunk. With my 31 armor pen and his base armor+ yellows, my spear shot did around 70 damage. He dove onto me at 1, and I kited him until spearshot was off cooldown. I tossed spearshot and engaged with autoattacks in order to build up my passive. Overall, I ended up winning the level 1 fight with more than half of my HP remaining. From there, I was able to zone him with spearshots, and get ahead in farm. Their enemy trundle ganked often, but by W'ing onto him to get distance toward my turret, I was able to survive double buffed ganks. Ended with this score http://puu.sh/Pikt.

+1 hilarious build. Bulky as hell and good burst (especially if you take sheen somewhat earlier). Will continue with my Pantheon as that

I'm just letting you know that Aegis Protection not only blocks Spinning Axe but also ends the ability. Awesome guide btw +1.

I must say, this build is awesome ^^ the combination of dmg and sustain that gives you the core is just dangerous, the spear hits so hard ! I just wen 13/2/3 in a 20min game, and im on a 5 win streak -since ive mastered pantheon actually. This role for pantheon makes him just so badass it hurts, and the matchups section is great, really great guide !
