Introduction
In my opinion Pantheon is the, if played right, the best mid in the game.
This guide however is for a general overview and I would like to see people play this guide to the letter. It is not however required to play Pantheon, though I would suggest any one who just bought Pantheon to use this guide, or any guide. Because if not played right Pantheon will feed the enemy team hard.
Now this guide and all future guides are a bit lengthy but that's the price you have to pay. Now Pantheon was my first buy and my favorite champion to this day. I firmly believe that I have a mastery over this champion. I will never post a guide over a champion I feel like I don't know how to play.
Now the the meat of this guide...
Marks - Greater Mark of Attack Damage These are for your early game damage. Though they can be replaced with Greater Mark of Desolation if you want more late game damage as their armor begins to rise.
Seals - Greater Seal of Ability Power Now these are for your Grand Skyfall as the ability can deal massive damage and is increased with AP.
Glyphs - Greater Glyph of Cooldown Reduction Now while Pantheon has a large amount AD in him his ability's are his source damage, and that anyone that tells you otherwise is WRONG.
Quintessence - Greater Quintessence of Desolation You should always chose the opposite of your choice or Marks. So it can be Greater Quintessence of Desolation or Greater Quintessence of Attack Damage

My overall build is 21/0/9. Thought you could go 21/9/0 the choice is whether or not if you want a little less squish in your Pantheon, or you want Grand Skyfall
I would explain why I chose each point but the is just impractical and would take to long. I just choose what I would your any AD assassin. Past that just refer the build to the top of the page.
(If there isn't a mastery page I will either notice that the mastery function doesn't look I will provide a link.

The first item that I rush for Manamune for a few reasons 1.) It helps to solve the mana issues that Pantheon has. 2.) Along with increasing your attack damage per mana all of his ability's besides Grand Skyfall scale with AD along with his auto attacks and Certain Death
Next item is Beserker's Greaves is helps with your auto attack and your Certain Death and movement speed of course.
Next then is Zeke's Harbinger more attack speed to help the same reasons as your boots and the lifesteal helps to keep you in lane while you get your farm on and the armor pen helps for the same reason as mentioned in the runes portion of the guide. The aura will help your team in team fights which is a important thing for Pantheon, or any champion, to know.
Then comes Frozen Mallet this lets Pantheon to keep his enemy where he is for longer, whether that be in team fight or 1v1 fight. The AD helps for the same reasons as Manamune and the health gets rid of all the squish that would be left in Pantheon.
Finally there is Cloak and Dagger The reason for it is same for Zeke's Harbinger on the AS portion. And the tenacity is helps to make sure you don't get as focused down for as long and might have a chance to get away.

The basics of your skill sequence is to have all 3 of ability's so you can at least complete at basic rotation. Past that you max Heartseeker Strike, then max Aegis of Zeonia, then Spear Shot. And take Grand Skyfall whenever you can get it.
Most guides all of the ability's listed again and I think that is just pointless it is there for a reason. It is something that will have to be learned by the individual. I promise you it isn't that hard if you can can pick up on things.

Flash It allows for chasing, running, and ganking. The only skill I would consider personally would be Ghost though it is takes the element of surprise though it is useful for all of the sames reasons.
Exhaust It also allows for a escape, and for a CC and with Improved Exhaust is lowers their resistance as well. the other skill I would use and did use Ignite before level 12. It allows for first blood easier sometimes and allows you cancel out some healing from your opponent.
