Patch 26.15 Zeri Guide (Grandmaster ADC Main)

By sazuone
About me:
Hello everyone!

I'm a Grandmaster ADC main on EUW and have consistently reached Grandmaster since Season 9. Recently I've been playing a lot of Zeri, and after getting asked about my runes and builds in my Twitch chat, I decided it was finally time to put everything into a guide.

This guide is based on my own experience climbing with Zeri and is aimed at helping you understand not only what to build, but also why. My goal is to keep it updated with every patch and explain the reasoning behind every choice so you can adapt your build and playstyle to each game.

If you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment on the guide or stop by my Twitch. I'm always happy to answer questions and help people improve.

About Zeri
Zeri is one of the most unique ADCs in League of Legends. Her replaces her normal auto attack, making every attack a skillshot that requires precise aiming and movement.

Because of this, she can be difficult to pick up at first, but she is also incredibly rewarding once mastered. Zeri has a very high skill ceiling and offers some of the most satisfying kiting and carry potential in the ADC role.

✓ Pros
  • Excellent scaling
  • High mobility
  • Insane carry potential
  • Strong waveclear
  • Safe laning phase
  • Very strong in extended fights
  • Good into many mage bot lanes
  • Can hit invisible targets because is a skillshot, not a normal auto attack

✕ Cons
  • Much weaker early before getting
  • Hard to master
  • Punishing when behind
  • Weak level 1
  • Requires strong mechanics and positioning
  • Struggles against heavy point-and-click CC (for example Vi Ultimate or Nautilus Ultimate)
Summoner Spells

Flash + Barrier is the standard summoner spell setup for Zeri and the one you will take in most games.

Barrier gives you extra survivability against burst damage and helps you survive crucial moments in fights, allowing you to keep your distance and continue dealing damage.

Additionally, since Zeri commonly runs Last Stand, Barrier can create extra value by allowing you to stay at low HP for longer while still being protected from incoming damage. This lets you benefit from the increased damage from Last Stand while reducing the risk of getting instantly finished off.

Flash + Ghost is a strong alternative, especially when playing against mage-heavy compositions.

Unlike a traditional ADC matchup where both sides often rely on combat summoners, many mages run Teleport, allowing you to match their utility instead of needing another defensive combat summoner.

Zeri also gets a lot of value from Ghost because her biggest strength is extended fights where she can constantly kite and reposition.

Additionally, Zeri's [E] - Spark Surge gives her a lot of mobility around the map, including very efficient wall jumps from base that shorten your walking time and help you keep tempo without needing Teleport.

Against mages, I also like to look for level 1 fights, since this is often their weakest point in the game before they have access to their full kit and stronger poke patterns.

When possible, I like to use Ghost during these early fights to extend the trade, keep chasing, and get extra damage onto them while they are still vulnerable.

Flash + Barrier → Default choice in most games

Flash + Ghost → Better against mages and extended fights
Runes

This is currently the most consistent rune setup for Zeri. It focuses on maximizing her damage in extended fights while helping her reach her biggest strength: her 3-item spike.

Unlike many ADCs, Zeri does not run Lethal Tempo anymore. Instead, Conqueror gives her much stronger early and mid-game damage if utilized correctly.

Precision Tree

Conqueror

Conqueror is the main reason this setup is stronger than Lethal Tempo. It takes 6 Q hits to fully stack Lethal Tempo, while Conqueror can be fully stacked with 4 Qs + 4 Auto Attacks.

This gives you significantly more damage during trades and skirmishes, especially in the early game. Learning to actively stack and utilize Conqueror takes a few games, but once you get used to it, your damage output will noticeably increase.

Later into the game the difference becomes smaller, but fully stacking Conqueror quickly can still decide fights, so you should always look for opportunities to stack it either way.

Triumph

Triumph is preferred over Presence of Mind because Zeri is not a very mana-hungry champion. As long as you avoid unnecessarily spamming abilities, you will rarely run into serious mana problems.

The extra healing after takedowns is also very valuable during skirmishes and teamfights.

Legend: Alacrity

Attack speed is extremely valuable on Zeri, especially because you are not running Lethal Tempo. Since you usually go for Gluttonous Greaves to get your sustain, Alacrity provides the attack speed you need to keep your DPS high and make your Q autos feel smoother.

Last Stand

Last Stand is one of Zeri's strongest rune choices and consistently performs extremely well.

It also has great synergy with Barrier, as using Barrier while low HP allows you to stay in the fight longer while benefiting from the increased damage.

Inspiration Tree

Cash Back

Cash Back is extremely valuable on ADCs because you naturally generate additional gold through your item quest.

The extra gold income helps you reach your 3-item spike faster, which is one of Zeri's biggest power spikes.

Biscuit Delivery

Biscuits provide additional sustain during the early game and are especially useful for surviving early skirmishes.

Try to use them when you are actually low HP whenever possible to get the maximum value from the healing and avoid wasting their effect.

The extra maximum HP from biscuits is also very valuable, especially since it helps you survive early trades and skirmishes where Zeri is at her weakest.

Attack Speed Shard

Since you are running Conqueror instead of Lethal Tempo, the attack speed shard helps compensate for the lost attack speed and makes your Q autos feel smoother.

Adaptive Force Shard

Zeri scales very well with AD, making the adaptive force shard the best offensive choice for maximizing your damage.

Health Scaling / Flat Health Shard

The flat health shard helps you stay even or ahead during the early game.

Zeri is usually weaker before level 6, so having extra HP is especially valuable for early trades and skirmishes where small differences can decide the outcome.
Item Builds
Zeri is a scaling ADC who reaches her biggest power spike around 3 items. Your main goal is to safely reach your core items while maximizing your damage in extended fights.

Starting Items

Your default start is Doran's Bow + 2 Health Potion.

Doran's Bow gives you the best balance of early damage, sustain, and lane pressure. It helps you contest early waves and trades while giving you the stats needed to reach your first item spike.

Since Zeri is usually weaker before , having enough early power to stay even or create small advantages is very important.

Against harder lanes, you can consider Doran's Helm instead.

Doran's Helm is especially useful into lanes where you are constantly getting pressured and need more survivability to get through the early game.

This includes heavy all-in lanes like Tristana + Pyke or poke lanes like Caitlyn + Lux, where the extra sustain allows you to absorb pressure and safely reach your important item spikes.

Full Build Example

Your standard build is:

Stormrazor Runaan's Hurricane Infinity Edge Lord Dominik's Regards

This is the standard Zeri build and the one you will use in most games. It gives you everything you want: strong AD scaling, attack speed, crit, and the ability to deal consistent damage in extended fights.

Boots Choice

You generally want to complete Gluttonous Greaves around your second item.

The extra sustain feels extremely valuable on Zeri and fits her extended fight playstyle very well.

Berserker's Greaves used to be a more common option on ADCs, but after the nerfs they are currently too weak to justify buying on Zeri.

The extra attack speed is nice, but you get much more value from the sustain of Gluttonous Greaves or the defensive stats from Plated Steelcaps.

Against heavy AD compositions or teams with strong assassins/lethality threats, you should buy Plated Steelcaps instead.

Even though Gluttonous Greaves are extremely strong on Zeri, Plated Steelcaps can provide too much value in these situations to skip.

Examples where Plated Steelcaps can be especially valuable are against champions like Tristana, Pyke, Rengar, Zed, or Talon, where reducing incoming physical damage can be the difference between surviving a fight and getting instantly burst.

BF Sword Priority

If you have enough gold to buy B. F. Sword on your way towards Infinity Edge, it is usually better to prioritize the BF Sword instead of completing your boots.

The AD spike is much more valuable for your damage, unless you specifically need the extra movement speed and sustain in a certain matchup.

Phantom Dancer Variation

Against mage-heavy teams or compositions with many skillshots to dodge, you can replace Runaan's Hurricane with Phantom Dancer.

Stormrazor Phantom Dancer Infinity Edge Lord Dominik's Regards

The additional movement speed from Phantom Dancer feels extremely valuable on Zeri, as it allows you to kite more easily, reposition faster, and dodge important abilities.

This is especially useful against champions who rely on landing skillshots rather than point-and-click abilities.

Last Item Options

Your final item should depend on the enemy team and what you need in the game.

Try to avoid building both Mercurial Scimitar and Bloodthirster.

Since both items provide lifesteal, you usually get more value from choosing one of them and using your last slot for another defensive or utility option.

Zhonya's Hourglass can also be a surprisingly good situational option.

Zeri has useful AP ratios, so the item is not completely wasted, and the active can save you from dangerous engage ultimates like Malphite or Vi when your Flash is unavailable or Guardian Angel is on cooldown.
Abilities Explained
Zeri is a very unique champion because her main damage source is a skillshot that requires consistent accuracy.

This means that mastering Zeri is not only about knowing your damage, but also about movement, positioning, and using your mobility correctly. The better you get at using her mechanics, the higher her skill ceiling becomes.

Passive - Living Battery

Zeri's passive is one of the reasons she feels so unique compared to other ADCs.

Your basic attacks deal magic damage and charge up over time while moving or casting . Once fully charged, your next attack deals bonus damage and slows the target.

Movement speed is extremely valuable on Zeri because it improves your ability to kite, dodge abilities, reposition during fights, and make better use of your passive.

Q - Burst Fire

Your Q is your main source of damage and the ability you will use constantly throughout the entire game.

Unlike normal ADC auto attacks, every Q is a skillshot. This means that your positioning and aim directly impact your damage output.

Learning to consistently hit Q while moving is one of the most important parts of improving on Zeri.

W - Ultrashock Laser

Zeri's W is mainly used as a setup tool and for dealing damage from unexpected angles.

The wall interaction makes W much stronger, especially when combined with E to create engage opportunities or when hitting enemies from out of vision.

E - Spark Surge

E is one of Zeri's most important abilities and a huge part of what makes her such a unique ADC.

The ability to dash through walls gives Zeri incredible mobility and allows her to create angles that other ADCs cannot.

E can be used both offensively to chase and reposition, or defensively to escape dangerous situations.

R - Lightning Crash

Zeri's ultimate is what allows her to completely take over extended fights.

The longer you stay in combat, the more value you get from your ultimate, making movement, positioning, and knowing when to commit extremely important.
Laning Phase
Zeri's laning phase is a little different compared to most ADCs. Before getting access to , you are usually not looking to force random fights, especially into stronger early game lanes.

Your main goal is to stay healthy, collect as much gold as possible, and reach your important item spikes while using your strong waveclear to create advantages.

Even though Zeri can struggle in certain early fights, she has a lot of tools that make her lane very stable when played correctly.

Level 1

Level 1 is one of Zeri's weaker points because your can be blocked by anything standing between you and your target.

Unlike normal ADCs, where your auto attacks will simply hit the closest target, Zeri's Q can get completely denied by minions or enemy champions.

A good enemy support can simply walk in front of their ADC and absorb your Qs, making it very difficult to trade properly. This is also why fighting through minion waves can feel extremely awkward for Zeri early on.

However, helps solve this problem because after using E, your attacks can pierce through the first target hit.

This makes it much harder for enemies to completely deny your damage by body blocking.

You should still look for opportunities to trade when enemies make mistakes, but remember that Zeri becomes much stronger once you get more points into your abilities and unlock .

Wave Control & Lane Priority

One thing that is often underrated about Zeri is how good her waveclear actually is.

When the matchup allows it, Zeri can have surprisingly strong lane control even from level 1. Your passive helps execute low HP minions and your allows you to constantly farm from a safe distance.

Because of this, you are not always forced to play passively. In easier or neutral matchups, you can often take control of the wave and decide how the lane plays out.

Having control over the wave lets you choose when you want to:
  • Slow push and create bigger waves.
  • Force the enemy to farm under tower.
  • Look for a good recall timing.
  • Respect the enemy jungler and avoid getting punished.
  • Prepare yourself for upcoming objectives.

A lot of Zeri's strength comes from reaching her item spikes quickly. You do not need to flip early fights if you can consistently create small advantages through better farming and wave management.

Using E For Waveclear

While is usually one of your most important defensive tools, there are situations where you can use it aggressively for faster waveclear.

If you are completely safe from threats, for example:
  • The enemy jungler is not in a position to gank.
  • You have vision and there are no enemies hiding in nearby bushes.
  • You know the enemy cannot punish you for using your mobility.

You can use through the wave to clear extremely quickly and create better tempo.

This can help you push out waves faster, create better recall timings, or get priority before important objectives.

However, do not get into the habit of using E randomly on cooldown.

A large part of Zeri's safety comes from having your mobility available, so only use it aggressively when you are certain you cannot be punished.

Trading

Zeri's trading pattern is different from most ADCs because your main damage source is a skillshot.

Avoid throwing random into situations where the enemy can easily block them with minions or their support.

Instead, look for windows where you can consistently hit your Qs and get value from your passive.

Your goal is not always to win every single trade. Sometimes the best trade is simply staying healthy, keeping your lane state good, and waiting for your stronger spikes.

Remember that Zeri scales extremely well. Losing a large amount of HP for a small amount of damage usually benefits the enemy more than it benefits you.

Recall Timings

Good recalls are extremely important on Zeri because reaching your item spikes as quickly as possible is one of your biggest strengths.

One thing to keep in mind is that getting enough gold for can sometimes be difficult.

The main reason is not only that it is a strong component, but that getting a clean 1300 gold recall early in the game can be quite unrealistic.

Because of this, you need to learn how to use your gold efficiently while still working towards your biggest spike.

Some useful recall examples:

Cull is a very good purchase on Zeri, especially in lanes where nothing is happening and both sides are mostly farming.

A recall pattern I really like, especially into mage lanes, is pushing the first 3 waves and then recalling for Cull. This gives you a clean reset and lets you start stacking the extra gold while continuing towards your main spikes.

However, the most important rule is:

If you can buy , always prioritize it.

While B. F. Sword is obviously a very strong spike, the bigger reason you want it as soon as possible is because getting a clean 1300 gold base for it can be difficult.

Delaying it with unnecessary purchases can slow down your build significantly.

For example, if you already have Scout's Slingshot, Boots, and Cull, it is usually better to take a quick reset and aim for your rather than buying a Cloak of Agility and delaying the component you actually want.

Always look at your current items and ask yourself:

"Does this purchase help me reach my next major spike faster?"

General Laning Goals

Your main goals during lane are:
  • Stay healthy and avoid unnecessary poke.
  • Collect every minion possible.
  • Use your waveclear to create good lane states.
  • Reach your important item spikes as quickly as possible.

Zeri rewards patience. You do not need to force every opportunity early because your scaling is one of the strongest parts of your champion.

A lot of games are won by simply farming well, staying relevant, and reaching the point where Zeri can completely take over fights.
Advanced Mechanics
Zeri has a very high skill ceiling because small mechanical improvements can make a huge difference.

Learning these mechanics will help you get much more value out of her kit and separate you from players who only understand her basics.

E Auto Attack Reset

is not only a mobility spell, it is also an auto attack reset.

A common damage pattern is:

Q → Auto → E → Q → Auto

Using E between your attacks allows you to maximize your damage output and weave your abilities and attacks together more efficiently.

Passive Management

Your passive is something you should always keep in mind during lane and fights.

If you have nothing important happening and your passive is not charged, you can simply spam anywhere to build it up.

Having your charged auto attack ready before a fight or trade can make a big difference, especially because the slow helps you stick to targets and continue hitting your Qs.

Wall Jumps

One of Zeri's biggest strengths is her ability to move through walls.

On blue side, this is the preferred wall jump to leave base.

While there is another wall jump directly out of the fountain, that one is usually less optimal because you already get movement speed when leaving base.

Instead, this jump allows you to instantly start walking towards lane while still using the wall shortcut, giving you more consistent tempo.

On red side, the same concept applies.

I highly recommend practicing these jumps in Practice Tool. Try putting your camera towards the ending location of the jump, as this makes it easier to consistently get the maximum distance.

Also practice doing them faster, because saving a few seconds every time you leave base can add up over the course of a game.

Using Walls During Fights

Even outside of specific wall jumps, always think about your surroundings.

If you are unsure about a fight or feel threatened, try to stay close to walls that allow you to escape.

For example, if Twitch comes out of stealth and tries to all-in you, being near a usable wall allows you to instantly use and create distance.

Good Zeri players are constantly looking for opportunities to use walls, not only for movement but also to make themselves much harder to catch.

Movement Around The Map

Zeri can create huge advantages by using walls to arrive at fights earlier.

For example, if there is a fight around the bot side scuttle area, this wall jump allows you to cover a large distance and arrive earlier, potentially creating a numbers advantage.

The same idea applies around dragon pit on blue side.

Knowing these shortcuts allows Zeri to impact fights faster than many other ADCs.

E Usage In Fights

One of the biggest differences between a good and bad Zeri player is understanding when to use aggressively and when to keep it available.

Using E aggressively can allow you to chase targets, create better angles, and continue dealing damage.

However, using it randomly can leave you vulnerable because a large part of Zeri's safety comes from having that mobility available.

Always think about:
  • Can I finish the fight if I use E aggressively?
  • Do I need E to escape?
  • Are there walls nearby that I can use if something goes wrong?

Mastering these decisions is what makes Zeri such a rewarding champion to improve on.
Teamfighting
Teamfighting is where Zeri can truly shine. Her combination of mobility, range, and scaling allows her to completely take over fights if she is given enough time and space.

However, playing teamfights correctly is not only about dealing damage. The most important part of playing Zeri is understanding when to commit, when to wait, and how to position yourself safely.

Positioning & Patience

Unlike many ADCs, Zeri does not always want to instantly walk forward and start attacking.

Your main goal at the beginning of fights is to stay alive, keep dealing consistent damage, and wait for the right opportunity.

Because your Q is a skillshot and your mobility is such a big part of your kit, small positioning mistakes can instantly cost you the fight.

Try to constantly ask yourself:
  • Can I safely hit the enemy frontline?
  • Do I have enough space to kite?
  • Are the dangerous enemy abilities already used?
  • Do I need to save E to escape?

Using Your Ultimate

is what allows Zeri to completely take over extended fights.

The longer you stay in combat, the more value you get from your ultimate, which means you want to look for fights where you can continuously move, kite, and keep attacking.

However, a common mistake is becoming too focused on keeping your ultimate going.

Sometimes you have to accept that your ultimate was not ideal or that you cannot continue fighting without putting yourself in danger.

Do not throw your life away just to maintain your ultimate stacks.

A good Zeri player knows when to disengage, reset, and wait for another opportunity.

When To Use E

Your is one of your strongest tools in fights, but using it correctly is extremely important.

You can use E aggressively to:
  • Create better angles.
  • Reach important targets.
  • Follow up on enemy mistakes.
  • Continue chasing during winning fights.

However, using E without thinking can leave you completely vulnerable.

Before using E aggressively, always consider:
  • Can the enemy instantly punish me?
  • Do I still have a way out?
  • Are there walls nearby if something goes wrong?

Frontline Damage vs Burst Opportunities

A lot of people think Zeri only plays as a traditional front-to-back ADC, but that is not always true.

Of course, hitting the closest target and safely dealing damage is often the correct choice. However, after reaching 3+ items, Zeri has enough damage to punish enemies who position badly.

If an enemy carry or important target is out of position, you can absolutely look for opportunities to burst them down instead of only hitting the frontline.

The important part is knowing when the opportunity is real and when you are just forcing.

General Teamfight Goals

Your main goals in fights are:
  • Stay alive and maximize your damage uptime.
  • Use your mobility to make yourself difficult to catch.
  • Wait for dangerous cooldowns before committing.
  • Take advantage of your scaling and item spikes.
  • Punish enemies who make positioning mistakes.

Zeri rewards patience. The best Zeri players are not the ones who always go forward — they are the ones who know exactly when they can take over the fight.
Mid Game
The mid game is where Zeri starts transitioning from a scaling ADC into one of the strongest carries on the map.

After around 14 minutes or once the bot turret is gone, your main goal changes. You usually do not want to stay bot anymore. Instead, you want to move towards the center of the map and start playing around your team and upcoming objectives.

Your goal is to collect resources, push waves, and reach your important item spikes while staying in positions where you can impact fights.

Moving Mid After Lane Phase

After the early lane phase ends, you generally want to move mid and continue farming safely.

Staying bot for too long often makes it harder to participate in important fights, especially when objectives like Dragon or Baron become more important.

Mid gives you better access to:
  • Your teammates.
  • Upcoming objectives.
  • Enemy jungle entrances.
  • Side waves that are available.

You rarely want to permanently move top after this point. Instead, look to push waves and rotate back towards the side of the map where something important can happen.

Side Lane Management

When taking side waves, try to choose the side that gives you the most value.

Ideally, you want to be on the side:
  • Where your team is strongest.
  • Where the next objective can be contested.
  • Where you can safely collect resources.

However, remember that Zeri is not on a strict timer to force plays.

If there is nothing happening, your team and the enemy team are not making moves, and there is no realistic opportunity for a good fight, it is completely fine to simply wait for your next spike.

A huge part of playing Zeri is knowing when not to force.

Resource Collection

One of the biggest advantages you can create as Zeri is making sure you collect as many available resources as possible.

Your goal is to consume gold and experience from the map whenever it is safe to do so.

Examples:
  • Take your own jungle camps if your jungler is dead or cannot take them.
  • Take enemy jungle camps when you have control of the area.
  • Catch sidelane waves when a teammate is dead and the wave would otherwise be lost.
  • Farm extra resources when nothing else is happening.

The more resources you collect, the faster you reach your biggest power spikes.

Of course, do not take everything just because you can. Avoid putting your teammates behind or creating unnecessary conflict over resources.

Playing Around Your Spikes

Zeri becomes much stronger as she completes items, with 3 items being one of her biggest carry points.

The mid game is about balancing two things:
  • Creating advantages when opportunities appear.
  • Avoiding unnecessary risks while waiting for your spikes.

You do not need to force every fight before you are ready. Sometimes the best play is simply clearing waves, taking resources, and waiting until you reach the point where Zeri can completely take over fights.

General Mid Game Goals

Your main goals are:
  • Move mid after the early lane phase.
  • Push waves and create pressure.
  • Play towards upcoming objectives.
  • Collect as many safe resources as possible.
  • Reach your important item spikes.

A good Zeri player does not win the mid game by constantly fighting. They win by consistently gaining gold, staying safe, and arriving at fights stronger than everyone else.
Late Game
The late game is where Zeri reaches her biggest potential. With multiple items completed, she becomes one of the strongest teamfight carries in the game.

However, having a strong late game champion does not mean you can play recklessly. The longer the game goes, the more punishing mistakes become. A single bad position can decide the entire game.

Your main goal is to maximize your damage uptime while staying alive for as long as possible.

Playing Around Objectives

In the late game, your priority shifts more towards playing around important objectives.

Before fights around:
  • Baron
  • Elder Dragon
  • Soul
  • High value towers

you want to make sure you are already in a position where you can participate.

Avoid getting caught on the opposite side of the map when a major objective is about to spawn. Zeri is extremely strong in fights, but only if she is actually there to deal damage.

Farming In The Late Game

Even though teamfights become more important, you should still look to collect as many resources as possible.

Continue taking:
  • Safe side waves.
  • Available jungle camps.
  • Enemy camps when you have control.

However, the difference compared to mid game is that you cannot sacrifice your position for a small amount of gold.

Do not greed for one extra wave if it means missing a major fight or objective.

A good late game ADC knows when the extra gold is worth taking and when being present is more valuable.

Finding Carry Opportunities

After reaching 3+ items, Zeri has enough damage to punish enemies who make mistakes.

While playing front-to-back and hitting the closest target is often correct, you should not limit yourself to only that.

If an enemy carry steps too far forward or uses important cooldowns incorrectly, you can look for opportunities to:
  • Burst isolated targets.
  • Chase down fleeing enemies.
  • Create aggressive angles with E.
  • Take over fights with your ultimate.

The key is knowing the difference between a good opportunity and forcing a bad play.

Positioning In Late Game Fights

Late game fights are often decided by positioning.

Before committing, always think about:
  • Which enemy abilities can instantly kill me?
  • Do I have E available?
  • Where are the important walls?
  • Can I safely continue attacking?

Your mobility makes you difficult to catch, but only if you respect the enemy threats.

A common mistake is becoming overconfident because Zeri is strong late game. Having damage does not matter if you cannot stay alive long enough to use it.

General Late Game Goals

Your main goals are:
  • Be present for important objectives.
  • Collect safe resources without missing fights.
  • Use your item advantage to punish mistakes.
  • Stay alive and maximize your damage output.
  • Trust your scaling instead of forcing unnecessary plays.

Zeri is a champion that rewards patience. The best late game decisions are often not the flashy ones — they are the ones that allow you to consistently deal damage until the enemy team can no longer survive your pressure.
Conclusion
Zeri is a champion that rewards patience, consistency, and a strong understanding of the game.

She is not the type of ADC that wins every lane or dominates from minute one. Instead, her strength comes from making smart decisions, collecting resources, and reaching the point where she can completely take over fights.

The biggest difference between an average Zeri player and a great Zeri player is not only mechanics. It is knowing when to fight, when to wait, where to position, and how to maximize every advantage you get.

Focus on the fundamentals:
  • Farm consistently and prioritize your item spikes.
  • Use your waveclear to create good lane states.
  • Respect your weaknesses before level 6.
  • Use your mobility wisely instead of forcing plays.
  • Stay patient and trust your scaling.

Zeri has one of the highest skill ceilings among ADCs, and improving on her is a long process. Small improvements in your mechanics, positioning, and decision making will continuously make you a better player.

I hope this guide helped you understand not only what to do on Zeri, but also why these choices are important.

Good luck on the Rift, and have fun mastering Zeri!
