Break down.
Pro's: he's very sneaky and can attack and do big damage and cause panic as soon as you hit with rake followed up by nox. The cutthroat ability is a good way to finish if combined with nox. His Ult is not only a death trap waiting to happen for opponents, but a mean's of escape, USE IT AS SUCH.
Con's: Talon is a very squishy character so if you charge in like we see many tryn's try to do, your gonna die in seconds, wait till you gear up to confront the enemy, once you have some armor and can do some big big damage, your opponent will probably run to the closest turret. If you don't get any cash flow going in the beginning thing's can go very rough for you.

I use rake and nox before cutthroat simply for the fact that my exhaust does enough for me till level 13 when I turn cutthroat on, by the time I'm level 18 exhaust simply isn't enough do to the fact that your enemy has more armor and health even if you have more damage, armor and health are easier to build as opposed to damage.
When you are going for a gank, use the brush to your advantage, your going in as an assassin which means you want to stealth, I prefer to come from behind my opponents. When they finally notice me It's already to late. When in team fights wait for another teammate to initiate the fight from the start, don't go charging in your not a tank. When push comes to shove your a finisher, be carefull when you use cutthroat it can get you swallowed by opponents in seconds. Pick your target's carefully. I like to harass with rake during these times just to get a feel, then when opportunity knock's I hit nox then cutthroat and hit my target then I use rake and if it's cooled down My ultimate for the finishing touch.
I prefer to farm till level's 6-7 to get enough to put my armor and stuff on, I try to stay out of confrontation unless my lane partner initiates. Farming level's you up faster while the other guys are screwing off teleporting to base and such. You shouldn't have to return to base before you hit level 6 unless you've been doing a whole bunch of pushing and harassing, what's the point do you really think your going to take a tower at level 5? Not very likely so farm.
The unique skill structure of Talon, make him the perfect ganker, I use characters like Wukong, nocturne, and Ashe, but this has become by bar my favorite champion to play. His ultimate not only stealth's him so when you hit it you can be all over him before he even know's it, but it can help you sneak into the jungle if your being chased by the whole team. I absolutely love the combo effect of nox and cutthroat.
