Trinity Force so late???? Sorry man... that's just wrong.

Plus the Frozen Mallet is a waste. You already have your trinity force slow.

you're wasting alot of money by buying frozen mallet AND trinity force as you only get the phage effect once..
I also think you buy the second phantom dancer too early, i would max triforce after buying 1phantom dancer and 1bloodthirster

I've never played Poppy, but I've seen another player use this build and it worked great!

well the one that makes poppy awesome is that all you have to do to counter that, is use her ult on either a person you not going to attack (aka the tank who would have the thorn mail)and then proceed to the carry and destroy them or just use it on someone doesn't have the thorn mail and then take out the person who has the thorn mail while the ult is still in effect.

From playing with her I usually see tanks use thornmail so yes the tanks could counter me. The thing is that your job is not to kill the tanks. Your job is to take out the squishies before the other team even knows whats going on. That's what I feel this guide does. Also, squishies may buy thornmail, but her initial burst from sheen allows poppy to lower over 1/4 of their life without much effect from thornmail. Then the lifesteal will help you stay alive while hitting the squishy with the thornmail. Also, everyone can be countered. There are items to counter assassins. casters, and any champion. If they choose to counter you thoughm it will leave them vulnerable to someone else on your team. So thats a good job in and of itself. Thanks everyone though. I really like the help and the constructive criticism.

I agree that it seems pricy. The attack speed from the greaves and zeal allow for a lot of farm. Also poppy should be killing almost as soon as she has sheen. Usually I live in lane until I can go back at get sheen and boots. I'm usually close to level 6 and my assassinations can begin. I'd say she is like a la blanc that can do the huge burst but she excels past la blanc because, with those three items and her ulti, she can almost ensure the kill. So really Ince you have zeal the gold should come in faster than you think. I usually can get close to completing the frozen mallet. You may not get past that but if there is more time you might as well make the sheen better with trinity force. ThAnks for feedback though.

Oh, I see. You should re-do your item sequence to show when to buy the "little" items that branch into the core items. That would help people a lot.

+1 for effort ;)

Really pricey item build... Early game with this build Poppy is going to have to play very carefully, until she really shines late game.

Good guide though, keep up the good work.
