im player with 1270 rating and have play just over 2500 with 700 going to poppy. i have played poppy since her release and pretty much love her. stone is always my first item i pratically never run out of mana and most time hp therefore im always aggressive. this is my only build for poppy, if im not forced to tank in rank

first start with pendant and eihther hp/mana potion. then build into stone(my favorite item and most important item for poppy in my opinon). get hex revolver after shoes, hex is 2nd important item for poppy. then get sheen and finish hex into hex gunblade,now finish your boots into your choice, either zeal if your opponent is fast or phage for slowing heroes with stun and slows. finsih into trinity force. then either get force of nature for hero with magic resist or warmog for heros with attack speed and damage.

From level 1 to 6 you should lane with a hero that has a stun or snare,most poppy players play aggressive pretty much here because if you follow this build you wont rely on cs(creeps slain) here,so you need play aggressive to hero who have under 35 magic resist and dont deal too much damage with pendant you can be too aggressive without them harrassing you too much, heros like annie 1-5,alistar 1-5 and etc. hero who a pretty much deadily from level 6 you want to stay away unless your fed, they having bad game. this is where u might finish your hex revolver, which is more important then sheen in this game style. Play safe if you have 2 stuns/snare/silence in your lane until u have level 2 Devastating Blow, this is where poppy shows her true colours, of how deadly she is no matter the hero. dont fight ad/dps heros during this phase if they jungling or laning with a tank.(defenivse stragery under level 18 chapter)

This is perhaps the funnest time during the game if you have just finsihed sheen or hex gunblade then your pretty much a machine here, you should roam and gank alot i pratically dive everytime i see a hero under 60% hp with ignite and your ulti, you pretty much going to kill the opponent hero, also try to save your allies alot with your ghost and Paragon your pretty much deadly and if your fed most players wont fight you even 2-3v1 with vamp you can kill them easily or kill 1 or 2 and still get away always keep ghost for your escape or know when you can chase and kill without charging into their team.

here you have 2 jobs to kill and keep tanks like morde from ulting and focusing your squishies with this build even a fed morde will have trouble fighting you. i find mordes pratically easy, and focus there squshies or tanks if you know you can kill them fast. that really it for what you have to do.
