Introduction

Hey, this build is going to focus on how to output some great burst damage while maintaining some sustainability. Pantheon is pretty squishy but deals gret damage. He stomps on kids early-mid game.

Runes

Simply to explain my choice of runes is you want to do damage and at the same time not be taking a lot of damage. Thus, my choice of runes; armour penetration marks, flat ad quints, armour seals, and lastly magic resist glyphs.

Masteries

For my masteries I chose 24/6/0. I put points in to fill up cooldown reduction. This is because Pantheon has great harass and cooldown is always great. To add your enemy will be irritated with those spears coming at them constantly.

Items

I usually start of with a dorans blade but under various circumstances I may decide to start off with boots and some pot. I mean pots(health & mana) but pot is good too. Then on your trip back assuming you bought a dorans blade, buy boots. If you have enough start building your chalice of harmony. If you haven't noticed Pantheon doesn't ration his mana very well. After you've bought Chalice of harmony buy a BF sword. Now finish your boots. I usually buy Ioanian boots of lucidity. Boots of swiftness are great too. I wouldn't go so much after berserker greaves as Pantheon is a melee caster. He is designed more on bursting then auto attacking. That is why I stick with Ionian boots of lucidity. Next work your bf sword into a bloodthirster. After that build a brutalizer. It gives you cooldown, armour penetration, and attack damage. Now build yourself a frozen mallet. It gives you some much needed health, bit more attack damage and a great slow. Now you may builf your brutalizer into a ghostblade. Not to mention you may sell your dorans blade later on for some gold.

Skill Sequence

Within the first three levels I put a point into each ability. I max out Pantheon's E first which is heart seaker strike. This gives you good burst. Second I max his Q. Then fill in the rest for his W.

Aegis Protection: After attacking or casting spells 4 times, Pantheon gains a shield that will block the next normal or enhanced standard attack that deals above 40 damage to him.

Spear Shot: Pantheon throws his spear at an opponent dealing physical damage. If Heartseeker Strike has been leveled up once, Spear Shot will crit to deal 150% damage against opponents whose current health is below 15% of their max health.
Cost: 45 mana
Cooldown: 4 seconds
Range: 600
Physical Damage: 65 / 105 / 145 / 185 / 225 (+1.4 per bonus attack damage)

Aegis of Zeonia: Pantheon jumps at an enemy and bashes the enemy with his shield, stunning them for 1 second. Pantheon also instantly refreshes his Aegis Protection(passive).
Cost: 55 mana
Range: 600
Cooldown: 13 / 12 / 11 / 10 / 9 seconds
Magic Damage: 50 / 75 / 100 / 125 / 150 (+1.0 per ability power)

Heartseeker Strike (Active): Pantheon channels for 0.75 seconds and deals 3 swift strikes in a cone in front of him. Each strike deals physical damage, and they deal double damage to champions.(Passive): Pantheon's autoattacks gain 100% critical strike chance against targets whose current health is below 15% of their max health.
Cost: 45 / 50 / 55 / 60 / 65 mana
Range: 600
Cooldown: 10 / 9 / 8 / 7 / 6 seconds
Physical Damage Per Strike: 13 / 23 / 33 / 43 / 53 (+0.6 per bonus attack damage)
Maximum Physical Damage: 39 / 69 / 99 / 129 / 159 (+1.8 per bonus attack damage)

Grand Skyfall: Pantheon gathers his strength channeling for 2 seconds and then leaps high in to the air, crashing down at the target area 1.5 seconds later. Deals magic damage to units at the center (down to 50% at the edge) and slows them by 35% for 1 second. If the channeling is cancelled, the cooldown is reduced to 10 seconds.
Cost: 125 mana
Cooldown: 150 / 135 / 120 seconds
Magic Damage: 400 / 700 / 1000 (+1.0 per ability power)

Summoner Spells

In most cases I take Flash and ignite. Flash is great for escaping or chasing. While ignite will insure you that kill. As you may have noticed Pantheon has no escape mechanisms, so flash or ghost is pretty important. As for some other choices exhaust is a good substitute for ignite. If you want to; cleanse isn't a bad idea.
